Another excellent video. These B5 are of an age where these types of repair are needed so thank you. Rear trailing arm bushes on the Quattro would be nice, never found a video on it.

Hi, some information's are not correct. According to Audi the torque for upper arm control is 40 Nm (NOT 63 Nm) , brake caliper carrier is 125 Nm (NOT 75 Nm) and for the drive axel: M14 bolt: 115 Nm + 1/2 turn (180º) or M16 bolt: 190 Nm + 1/2 turn (180º) (NOT 175 Nm).

Dont buy OEM VW genuine CV boot kit. VW are being cheap skates and it does not come with grease or the bolt. FEBI German kits come with both for a better price than VW half kits

Disassembling the CV joint is not necessary, and not recommended. It's very difficult to do it without marring some metal, and also it's *crucial* to keep the inner and outer parts of the joint aligned, as well as the cage, and put the balls back into the same grooves as before. Just leave it alone, clean out as much old grease as you can, and re-grease it.

Thanks for following our channel. Yes, grease is also included in the boot and clamp kit, but this depends on the manufacturer, some manufacturers only sell the boot and other manufacturers sell the complete kit. AUTODOC
