That's a lot of work for spark plugs man. If you like it doing yourself it's a great job, most people will pay the extra money because they hide the sparkplugs under the intake manifold.
@rasmadrak3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I have always changed these myself...but considering the work required, I'm pretty sure I'll just pay someone to do it instead. :/

For clarifications, which one is it. Is it a #16 as listed in the video or a # 14 as listed in the discription??????

Hi. Can you upload a video on replacing Glow plugs on Nissan Qashqai 1.5dci 2008?
@petert6964 жыл бұрын
Fantastic video,however if the video is aimed at the diy mechanic and also has focus on selling your parts etc, it would also be logical to include the critical re learn procedure. Thanks
@phileagles9515 жыл бұрын
This is a good guide but what it fails to mention is that you need to run the throttle body relearn procedure or you will get an inconstant idle. This can be done by following the guides on the Internet or ideally through Nissan Consult III as this is much easier.
@easyrider0205 жыл бұрын
this is correct about the relearn.didnt have it with other car brands.im taking my car to the nissan dealer
@phileagles9515 жыл бұрын
I learnt the hard way. It is a doable DIY job but the hardest part is recalibrating the throttle body. It took me about 20 attempts before I successfully managed to do it!

Phil Eagles , I am keen to attempt changing the plugs on the mrs Dualis.where do you find the throttle body relearn procedure online?.What a hassle to change spark plugs!!
@phileagles9515 жыл бұрын
I used the official Nissan workshop manual I found here: en.zofti.com/2007-2010-nissan-qashqai-service-manual/download If you search the document for Idle Air Volume Learning without Consult-III it will show the procedure with a usual diagram. I recommend doing it with a stopwatch as the timing is crucial. Good luck.

In general, the replacement will be similar, the only thing is that it may differ slightly in the design features of your car. More detailed information can be found in the technical documentation for the repair of your car.
