Check out 303 cleaner, protectant, and fabric guard for top and interior maintenance. The best I've used as an old school autobody painter/detailer of cars, boats and planes. Fabric guard I keep in a one gallon weed sprayer to waterproof seats, coats, boots, hats and camping gear. The protectant is not greasy at all. I spray it on the engine bay after cleaning and just leave it most of the time.

Great video Jason. When I was in the convertible sports card scene many years ago we used 303 protectant for the interior plastic. The stuff is actually for boats, but works great for those sun baked auto areas. In continue to use on my DDs. Hey great video on detailing & I also enjoy your other videos too. I have a question/concern about my 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL Sport S V6 6 Speed (currently 5k miles, but heard the noises since new). Is there anyone experiencing any noises coming from your transfer case, manual transmission or Driveshaft or U-Joints, when shifting? Clicking or clunk noises? I'm experiencing this issue. It seems to get worse after driving for 30min or longer, I've driven a few other Jeeps including a JKU 6 speed and don't remember such a sloppy shifting transmission having such noises, so to say. I've brought it to the dealer here in N.Y. & they told me another customer came in with the same concerns and so far no resolution. I'm curious if you've had any issues or concerns? When the Jeep is turned off, I'm able to shift through the gears fairly smooth, the problem i hear is only while in motion. Thanks!
@AutoEdits5 жыл бұрын
Not sure but here is something many have experienced. My manual transmission was Under-filled from the factory and was a bit chunky but nothing dramatic. At the first fluid change, I was shocked at how low the level was. Check the fluid levels in your transmission and your transfer case while you're under there. The transfer case takes ATF fluid and the manual transmission takes special stuff from Mopar that is stupid expensive.
@paulholman82025 жыл бұрын
@@AutoEditsThanks for the reply! The dealership apparently looked over everything because even they noticed the shifting noises. I'm into synthetic for engine oil, can I put in full synthetic in the transmission, transfer case & the front axel fluid. Maybe this will help? I'm thinking about mounting a GoPro under there to try & capture what's going on.
@AutoEdits5 жыл бұрын
Because the trans. uses copper bushings... I'm not sure what aftermarket fluid would be certified for use. That's why I am a sucker and use the Mopar stuff... otherwise go crazy with the synthetic everywhere else... just use the right weights.

Hey Jason , I'm like you, it takes me about 3 to 4 hours to clean my TJ after hitting the trails . I will have to try the Lucas products. I have always been a Mothers product user , but I'm up to try something different . I was going to buy the F11 , but its pretty pricey . Until next time take care and belly rubs to Pinto from me .

Enjoy your videos. Just subscribed. What type of cloth were you using for all the wipe down you were doing? I have been using 'the absorber' for wiping the water off for no spots and it has worked great! I was curious what type of cloth you were using to wipe down your aluminum wheels and also your interior?

Howdy and welcome! I just use microfiber towels for everything.

You should switch out your interior to a Amorlite replacement floor and throw away the floor mats. They're so much easier to clean.

Solid suggestion... carpet is a pain to keep clean.
