Fantastic video, great job! Just a detail about folding rear seats down. You have to first lift the seat cushion and then lower the seat backs. It is same in ML or GLE :)

I work for Mercedes , been lucky to sell 2 of these bad boys. They’re expensive but our customers have enough money to take them in cash. I love selling the wagon, my company gives me a $10,000 bonus aside for selling our AMG line ups. This is why consumers spend over $100,000 for Mercedes vehicles

How wonderful is this channel and also the AMG G-Wagon.. both excellent! But also both very honest: the AMG Wagon is a car I truly desire.. but like AutoGefühl and I also realize it is way oversold.. it is a 25K car to be built but sold at 200K plus price.. still an object of desire though..

I have mixed opinions about the looks of this new G-Wagon. With the last generation, it looked very muscular and blocky, but with the new generation, I feel like they took a more conservative approach. I wish they still incorporate with chrome bull bar like the last generation.

Is this all new frame wise or just a face lift? Looks almost the same apart from the obvious changes like the lights interior,bumpers grille etc..or in other words is the windshield and side glass panels same as the old one ?

I had the choice of buying either the 2018 amg63 G Wagon or the 2019, and decided to stick with the 18's traditional styling. I like the chrome bull guard and overall boxy, muscular build of the 18,', including the tactile knobs and buttons over the digital display of the '19. This is not to say that i don't like the update. It is beautiful. I simply prefer the more old school look of it predecessor. Very good video.

The back seats do fold flat. You neef to raise the flat seat first by a handle, and then fold the vertical. Much like the GLE.

Very heavy but if you subtract 174 kg/383 pounds from the current base model G Wagen weight which weighs 5724 pounds, the new curb weight should be only 5340 pounds! Not bad at all for a G Wagen!!!! Thats 9 pounds per horsepower for the G63 AMG Assuming the weight isnt much different

I’ve never seen the appeal of G class, this is a little too retro for me, and looks almost the same as the old one from outside. Interior is much better. I’m sure it will continue to sell well in Chelsea but I’m not a fan. Overpriced box on wheels.

I seen on another video where they flip the bench forward and was then able to bring the back rest fully flat. Look at 10:55in this video, it is demonstrated here m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZScpa2feZqtapY They didn't go through it thoroughly in this video for the back seat. Either way great review! Stop fooling people by selling it as an SUV OFF ROAD PLS. ITS NOT! Designer really don't even go off roading. Have it on bulletproof for your Oligarchs, drug dealers and look at me vehicle.
