Great video, thanks. As someone lives in Germany and considering to buy this car, your review in English helps a lot. Also it's good that your review is not full of praises like some other channels, but straight facts and neutral opinions. 2 things I would like to know more about to maybe give you an idea: 1- What would be the direct competitors in this class, and what would be the deciding factors between them? 2- Regarding the configuration options: A breakdown of them and "which one to include and why".

What about the highway trip from time to time? What is the highway range of that car? Assuming that you start with fully charged battery.. And when the battery is depleted?

Great job, best review out there! What would be your preference between this and the Mini Countryman SE (another great review!)? Is it a case of fun/style (Mini) vs practicality (X1)?

I’ve had the same thoughts about this. I think that the mini is great to drive and really something different. On the other hand the X1 is still great to drive and also practical. The mini looks is not for everyone but it’s fun to drive.

They never say what it’s like in petrol engine only mode? I’m thinking 1.5 litre 3 cylinder that’s going to be harsh and gutless or not🤷

its a pity the dashboard and overall exterior design hasnt changed, on that basis, I'll probably opt for the XC40 R design Hybrid

If it ain't broken, don't fix it... the X1 still looks great. XC40 looks great too, I'd consider the GLA250e too if I were you.

Interior feels quite old now in 2020 compared to 2015.. They should definitely updated to a real display for the speed/rpm gauges.

Thomas, do you know why the gear stick is not the same as the x2? Are the gearboxes different? What would be a more comfortable alternative? Q3? Tig?
