Pharmacy technicians touch the medications with their hands when no one is looking, so this is better and more sanitary.

these are some of the same issues with automation that are addressed in the Venus Project. People can stick their heads in the sand if they want to but it's not going to change the fact that robots are going to eliminate a lot of repetitive labor if not the more intricate and complex jobs as well. it'll be interesting to see how people handle it as a society if not moving away from the monetary system like we have now.

Actually robots/machines are already eliminating repetitive tasks for years and obviously many jobs are lost, the latest I've seen are the machines found in Walmart and McDonald's that entirely replaced cashiers. Now, for technology, the next step is to replace jobs that we maybe never expected to be replace. if a pharmacist sees the video above he/she will realize how completely useless they are nowadays, sadly

znbdyf dyf There will be societal chaos. Our system will collapse and we will probably have grass growing in our streets after. No automation is an ethic blunder.

Pharmacists are evolving into Healthcare Practitioners in most states. The role of the Pharmacist has even evolved during the pandemic, allowing them to administer Covid-19 tests. As a matter of fact, they are already prescribing in some states. Is just a matter of time. Whoever said that the profession will be obsolete, does not pay attention to the changes that are occurring in real-time.
