Wow. I just working on similar idea. Very elegant construction.. but, your model with shift back and front on focus. Its Ok if you have autofocus.. but.. not so good if you model dramatically change size of final image.. your model quality will be as worst as smallest(far from cam) image.

Thank you :) Agreed - I do use autofocus on mine so I allow 5 seconds between movements just to be sure.

Hi, I've got further information on the settings on the Thingiverse page - there's only the settings for number of rotational stops and vertical stops that you really need to change, other changes would be down to the camera you are using, and unfortunately I just have the experience of the two cameras mentioned. I've no plans for a printing video, as that's just your usual 3D printing technique and I'd be going over ground covered numerous times on KZbin at a better level than I would be offering.
