My BS6 petrol nexon top model AMT is 6 months old. I have driven it almost 6000km. I can say if you aren't driving in highway eco mode does the job. In highway and to overtake city mode is preferred. In eco acceleration is too slow to make quick overtake. Sports mode is basically for fun and for enthusiasts. He used the right word that car becomes rocket in sport mode. But it also consumes a lot of fuel. For me personally I rarely felt the need of that much power.

Seeing videos even i bought a nexon diesel AMT and modes i feel MODES are not useful as say we drive in eco mode the performance is less and we press the throttle more so fuel consumption is same with a light foot in city mode so its advisable to stop fiddling with modes and master in 1 mode. may be its because 15yrs driving manual cars 1st time hands on an amt.

Hi Nikhil, We live in Haldwani. And we hve booked XMA Petrol. Still having second thoughts after watching bad reviews of Nexon on KZbin by lots of people. Our Majority rinning will be in planes but, will take the vehicle to hills also. To the village in Dwarahat or ocasional trips to Nainital/Almora. Do you recommend buying AMT petrol ? Or should we cancel ?
