A problem with this design, its shuffle doesnt work correctly, it will shuffle the songs randomly but some will get stuck in the hoppers. The disc that pops out the jukebox will be the first slot in the hopper which is then put into the dropper. The discs in slots 2,3,4,5 are just trapped there

So I had the same issue others have been describing; the Redstone clicking away and nothing happening, and the disc getting stuck in the hopper. Turns out the hopper wasn't linking to the bottom dropper, got around this by placing a cobblestone block in place of the bottom dropper, placing the hopper against the side of the cobblestone block, and then cutting the cobblestone block out and placing the dropper in it's place pointing upwards. Obviously everything HAS to be the exact way as described in the video (I'm on Java and had to drop down 2 blocks to get the placement right as you had shown for Bedrock edition). Happy to report its all working well and hidden into a wall in my house.

@@menhera1 Glad you've fix it for you, note that the observer is checking for a change in state of the hopper not the content of the discs. Essentially observer is triggered then the redstone/locked state of the hopper is power/unpowered by the jukebox playing a song. In that sense when the jukebox is done playing a song it will no longer output a redstone signal and unpower the hopper therefor changing its state and triggering the observer onto the dispenser I wonder if what you've encountered is if the bottom hopper is full, there will be nowhere for the music disc in the jukebox to go which might cause some problems with the state of the top hopper? The way they implemented it is really stupid. It would have been so cool if they had made it possible to read out the disc playback progress with a comparator, and a redstone signal to eject the current disc. That way you wouldn't have the hopper blocking and quasi connectivity issues at all... Could also skip a disc without manual ejection and picking it back up.
