MTV, learned their lesson from when they performed at the MTV awards beack in 2023 and this time they gave them the stage that they deserved .

“Automatic Sun,” from The Warning’s 2024 album Keep Me Fed, is a song about longing for someone whose energy and warmth draw you in, like the gravitational pull of the sun. This person becomes an “automatic sun,” radiating addictive warmth but leaving you feeling trapped and yearning for more. In their Track by Track video, the band shared that “Automatic Sun” was the last track written for the album and became its perfect closer. The instrumental elements-riff and melodies-came together first, followed by extensive experimentation with lyrics. Once they centered the song around the concept of an “automatic sun,” everything flowed naturally. Pau described the rhythmic feel as her favorite on the album, and the band agreed it’s one of their favorite songs to perform live. In the studio, they recognized the song’s significance, particularly with its outro, and knew it was the ideal way to end the album.

I can see why its a favourite of theirs! Thanks for sharing that information about the song, I feel like the songs meaning resonates with me right now. Maybe that's why it hit pretty hard when I was reacting to it :D

I thought the pyro was fantastic, and the heavy outtro is extended also!

Oh? I heard the studio version the other day, I didn’t realise the outro was extended ! So good though 🤩

Here Dany is playing a custom Fender Strat baritone guitar, with a longer neck, more space between frets, letting her use much thicker strings and Ale is using her signature 5-string bass, both tuned way down to drop A, hence the heavy sound.
@SquishyJoshy26 минут бұрын
Oh so they’re in drop A? That’s so cool. 😎 I actually love the sound of drop A. I’ve been also considering getting a baritone guitar myself… 🤔

Great reaction, it's funny you mentioned Muse almost immediately. TW name Muse as a major influence and actually toured with them. Matt B was impressed enough with young Dany that he gifted her a one of a kind Manson 6 string in mustard yellow, her fav color💛 Keep on with The Warning, they don't miss!
@SquishyJoshyКүн бұрын
I heard about that! That's so cool man honestly would love to have a Manson as well... those guitars always interested me when I grew up listening to muse. especially the ones with the Kaoss Pad built in

@@SquishyJoshy Dany had one of those when she was a lot younger, if you look at their 2019 cover of Metallica’s Atlas Rise live at the Whiskey Agogo (at the end of a 2 hour set), it’s what she’s using and making it sing!

Great reaction mate, we gotta get them to Australia in 2025. Best young rock band going around right now. I’m 50yrs old and they are my all time favourite band even though I grew up with AC/DC, Cold Chisel, The Angels, etc. These girls get better with every album. They don’t have a bad song. It’s unprecedented.

Nice. We do need to petition them to get to Australia one day for sure 😆. Maybe it needs to be a show with multiple headliners. It would be so cool to have a gig that has any combination of the following: Muse, Biffy Clyro, Nothing But Thieves, Royal Blood and The Warning. I think that show would definitely be massive. 🔥

What? We got 2 versions? As for recommendations, just start with the first song from their Pepsi Center show (Mexico City) called Disciple. You can thank me later. 😅😅😅❤

You mean 2 versions of my video right? yeah... been constantly trying to upload this video but it was being taken down for copyright. Tried 5 times.... appealed this one and its finally up. (so i've removed the other ones). I am probably going to be watching that whole Pepsi Center Show but not going to do a video. I've seen a few people suggest Disciple. I think that was the next one I was going to look into :D Thank you for your comments! :D

Great reaction mate. It's so bloody good to see fellow Aussies getting into the best band in the world! Now you should have a look at their TEDX performances from years ago to get the story of their roots and all the bloody hard work and sacrifice these girls have gone through for their art. They are an inspiration! Keep up the good work. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

If you want to truly hear the bass coming into this song properly, watch the Tecate Pa'l Norte festival performance, live video set to the studio audio. It really shows off the talent in the entire The Warning team.

Great reaction, yes live is way better than the studio versions, you get to see what they’re really like with their audience! They’re fuelled up by the Audience regardless of how many there is, they perform just as well in a small venue with a really appreciative audience as in a stadium full! That’s why we like them so much, they have a really great regard for their audience and always give it their all! As regards my recommendation, I shall stay with my previous comment on another’s comment where you mentioned the MB1 Manson with the magic pad, Atlas Rise Live at the Whiskey Agogo 2019 - Dany plays the one she had at that time (IMO the best guitar she’s had)!

@SquishyJoshy29 минут бұрын
I mean… 🤣 to be honest I wouldn’t classify them to be Nu-Metal. At least from what I’ve heard so far, but this track definitely has influences from Muse and Royal Blood. Maybe not Muse’s more theatrical tracks, but definitely the rockier ones.

I had high hopes for you as a reactor, but those have diminished a bit. Who are you _clapping_ for? And it's a shame you didn't have Muse or Royal Blood onstage to react to since they seemed to dominate your thoughts excessively. I still gave this a like.
@SquishyJoshyКүн бұрын
@@charlielightfoot7006 aw dude, how come they’ve diminished? This is my second reaction for The Warning, who I’m really loving right now, I’ve been playing Automatic Sun a lot ever since I watched and listened to this, and this was recorded a few days ago too, I am obviously still learning about them and Muse and Royal Blood were two artists that people were constantly talking about in the comments so naturally… but I didn’t intend for them to outshine The Warning at all. Just making comments as I go along… Thank you for your like anyways!
