Hi there, thank you for breaking that down, so important!! I am just shifting to resolve 19 beta and tried your advice and I am struggling. Are you aware if things have changed? There is no sidechain channel created automatically and there is no send button on tracks... not sure if this is a bug or a design change :(

I just spend 20 minutes because this did not work for me... If you have the same problem, make sure that the little orange switch in the top left corner of that dynamic window is on... But that was on me xD
