I used the "FatMat Rattletrap/no logo 80 mil from eBay. I didn't like the lines at the joints so I covered them with aluminum dust work tape which really wasn't necessary. To cut the stuff I used the $1 scissors from Harbor Freight which were still as sharp after doing the whole car. When I took it to the upholstery shop they covered the car with a jute padding, I don't know if it was really necessary. I would use the mat on the next car. It's easy and would be fairly easy to remove.

Resisto aluminum flashing tape. $13 a roll 12.5 sq.ft.
