I got one of these 2 weeks ago. As a licensed mechanic I am very much in love with how Chevy made this vehicle. I enjoy the ride much more than Tesla not sure what you are talking about Tesla has good tech and motors but bearings, suspension, fit and finish etc are poor to fair quality bro. Tesla over the next decade will lose market share year over year. Maybe if they get rid of elmo and get a real CEO that'll change.

Electric cars are truly fun to drive and perhaps when perfected, will be the future. My 97 year old uncle, yes he is 97! a retired atomic engineer, has owned a Model 3 Tesla and currently drives a Model Y. I’ve driven both of them, experienced one-pedal driving, and see the advantages of always having a vehicle fueled up with electricity and ready to go without ever needing to stop for gas or having oil changes or anything else having to do with a combustion engine. I don’t mind having most of the controls in the main display and would be tempted to buy one, if it wasn’t for a certain person named ‘Musk’.

This EV caught my attention because it's a good value, but it's basic when it comes to efficiency in cold weather, relying on dedicated heaters that draw power from the battery. Thanks for the review and your impressions of the driving and handling.

tested this and a few others to make my decision this came in #2 overall it was a tough decision. I had already put a deposit down on the Kona. This is better for somethings the Kona has a few more features. I think both are great cars. Honestly tesla is further behind than most people realized at this point. It could be the result of having a distracted CEO, but as other car manufacturers get serious more are realizing the options that are out there. Oh one thing I didn't like is getting in and just driving. I prefer to have a start and stop button.

I was interested because I like physical buttons. After I checked the real cost of this car, I am going with the Tesla. The one shown on this video has added options and costs at least $46,890+Dealer Fee, while the 2024 Long Range AWD Model Y costs $47990. Which one would you pick?

While I do like that there’s way more Chevy dealers local to me for any warranty work, I would absolutely go Tesla. I am a subscriber from Korea. I'm running a Bolt EUV now I'm waiting for Equinox EV. Most of the residential environments in Korea are apartments. The most inconvenient thing about running Bolt EUV is that it does not allow neutral parking. Doesn't Equinox EV also support neutral parking? There is a lack of information in Korea because it is before the launch. And I would like to know if the heating wire and back angle of the second row seat can be adjusted.

@AutomotiveAnonymous208Ай бұрын
I think they’re rated 319 miles for the single motor and 285 miles for the dual. And about an 85kWh battery pack. So hopefully 3+ m/kWh but I’d read owner experiences on a forum to know for sure what’s realistic.
@ziploc2000Ай бұрын
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 Not bad. 3.75 m/kwh for single motor, 3.35 for dual motor. We just picked up a '22 Bolt EV. I was looking for a small EV hatchback to cover the bulk of our city driving needs, and this fit the bill. Replacing a 2007 Mazda 3, which was noisy and not very efficient by today's standards, around 23 mpg around town at best. Our Bolt has 13,500 miles on it at a 3.9 kWh average, driving around the Salem & Portland area in Oregon. We're just a bit further south in Eugene so similar is expected, though we're actually getting better efficiency so far, in the 4.2 to 4.5 region. Cold weather might kill that, but we rarely get snow, and when we do it doesn't tend to stick around more than a couple of days a year.
