I think I like the Serpent since it is the smallest and probably most backpack friendly. I plan on using it as a commuter from the train station. What pros / cons can you tell me about it ?

ccmeaston it’s pretty small and if you are traveling far your feet will start to hurt since the deck isn’t flexy hope this helps

Booster board mini and I think bother short and long boards are nice.

I’m not sure if it matters, but I’m 6’ tall so I think I’d prefer a longboard. The problem is, they’re not legal where I live yet.

I would say it does matter. Taller people usually have longer feet and you might feel more comfortable on a longboard that something so tiny like a Kuickwheel. But it still depends on your riding style, the likes of Acton/Boosted mini etc might be just the right option for you. Why arent electric boards legal in your country? Maybe they are, but you are just not allowed to go faster than a specific speed limit?

We don’t have some liability insurance for self powered vehicles, which makes no sense because that’s what a car is. It’s a $500 or so fine because the insurance companies can’t keep up with the times

Do not buy at Gearbest is very bad company. It took me 4 months and a half to send me a Xiaomi Mijia m365 and I arrived with the whole case broken and did not take responsibility after having paid travel insurance. They forgot about me and did not want to help me, so today I buy much better on Aliexpress and they are always there to help you or refund your money for any problems you have with your order. It's a great plan. It seems that these boards were specially designed for short city trips.
