The range of signs and symptoms and the mystery of pd is so well explained. It all begins to dismiss the shame of the disabilities. I do think knowledge is power and these many experts being interviewed is very powerful. Thank each of the experts and the good interviewer 😊

Thankyou for a great presentation..I was hoping you can find time to give an opinion to a few questions I have. Question:. If the automatic nervous system can be somewhat broken down to 2 primary functions...1 part keeps you alive during stressful situations.(chemical, physical, or emotional stressors)..(fight ,flight or freeze mode) the other part controls organs and bodily function when not under stress and very importantly works to regenerate tissue plus more...such as damaged nerves etc. The question boils down to...if your body is given medication for parkinson's like levadopa...and since it has side effects such as constipation,( keeping you up all night) anxiety ( due to lack of sleep) and insomnia ( reduces bodily repairs)...so Zoloft is prescribed to help with anxiety.. Now. wouldn't the medications toxicity in the gut... which communicates to the brain through the automatic nervous system...detect a problem and go into fight/flight/or freeze mode....versus it's primary function of regenerating tissue and cells known as the broken lines of communication in the nervous system ( parkinson's)? This mode will never regenerate cells because it's in fight or flight mode? Yes or no? Thankyou...
