been sitting in this chair for years and adjusting the height of the lumbar support just blew my mind lol... I somehow knew I hadn't optimized everything, but I really shouldn't have waited to figure it all out. Also: protip, yes you do have to turn that tilt tension crank A LOT of times to get from point A to point B so keep going. Also you can feel it much more obviously if the back tilt is fully unlocked (that's also in the video), but it definitely does make a small difference at extremes either way. Maybe hard to perceive, but for me turning the tension all the way up definitely helps me maintain my posture better when sitting forward a bit.

I had mine assembled last week. Love it mostly but I wish the seat could go a little lower, like 1 or 2 inches. This video also shows it might be too tall for a small person.

The chair is rated best for people 5'3"-6'3" so it would be great for you. However, if you feel not comfortable with its height, you can replace the gas lift for a taller one. I am having a hard time adjusting the lumbar pillow? In the video it is done with ease but for me its very difficult and it seems to require a lot of force. Any advice?

Try to use 2 hand and push harder when you move it. I know as it is in the curve position, so you need to make sure you put the right force

@@imfloo_ I had the same issue, I wish I knew what I did to fix it but try pulling it more to an angle than like straight up? dont worry too much about force i THINK, ive pulled it so hard i just pick up the chair.

Turning the handle for the back tilt tension feels the same going all the way in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions. Any advice?

Never mind! I just realized the back tilt function has to be unlocked

@@Haanssz you use the lever on the left side. Press it down. You can also use the handle that’s hanging off the back of the chair, flip that down and everything will be completely unlocked

Hey, great chair! Just assembled it today. My favorite features are how I can move the seat in and out, AND how far back the chair goes. It really does wonders for me and goes a little bit farther than many chairs I've tried. LOVE. Though I critique I have is the arm rests move all around all too easily. I have to keep moving them to the spot I like - annoying!

I received the chair and I like it a lot, but the rotating handle to increase back tilt tension doesn't really do anything? If I rotate it, I can feel the resistance on the handle getting more or less depending on how I do it, but I don't feel any difference in the chair itself?

With all the adjustments added i wish the arms had an adjustment to widen a bit more, the space between the armrest is more narrow than the seat which is great for smaller people but not so great for larger ones.

Just received my Ergochair 2 and the seat tilt has only two settings? I cannot lock it anywhere between all the way angled forward or all the way angled to the backrest. Also, my lumbar support will not move. Both I and my husband have tried different amounts of force at different angles with both hands to no avail. The body of the backrest, which is white, is also covered in scuffs and dirt marks.

Regarding your questions, the height of the ergo chair with current gas lift is 19-21.5 inches. Would you try to measure and check if the height of your chair is in this range?

My seat can't be securely locked, when I flip the handle counter-clockwise, I hear a locking sound and it locks partially, but if I sit at the edge of the seat, it actually isn't locked, I nearly fell multiple times. Not sure if this is a feature and can't find any information on that.

I'm 160cm too. From this lady's example I think the cushion edge is too close to knee, or say the cushion is too deep, so very likely it's more like a slip-out posture if you want feet on floor. Personally I think egro is not for petite ppl.

@@AutonomousAI the back piece that is supposed to just move up and down easily for lower back, the piece with the cushion. . mine doesn't move at all. My BF did it but he pulled on it sooo hard. From behind the chair. Impossible to adjust while I'm sitting on it. I cant move it at all. AND the seat cushion is not that great for the price of this chair. I have to buy a cushion for it. I'm sitting on a pillow right now.

The seat is so uncomfortable plus why tilt forward on the seat? I'd call this a 2-3 hour chair, after that it's way too uncomfortable to sit in. Waste of money on my part.
