Thanks for sharing Casey, never thought of using an endmill ,,,,, I’ll have to remember that one. Have plenty of not so sharp ones. Ended up fitting very well. Floor pan looks really good. Looking forward to seeing your next vid. Cheers 🍻👍👍👍

Thanks Ron! I’ve just about got the inner quarter panels fitting the way I want them to, now, as well. The next video should be a nice pay-off for the folks who have been watching the series. I appreciate your kind words, as always.

I'm in the process of installing the same bar from autopower ( minus the diagonal brace ) . Ive tried everything and can't get the rear brace bars to give me enough clearance with the air vent box ( the rear brace bar contacts the air vent box ) It appears as if the rear brace bar pads are too far outboard on the wheel well - like the rear bars were welded improperly by a smidge. I looked at where your rear pads are sitting on the wheel well and they seem to be sitting 1/4 " or so more inboard than mine. Any chance we could chat ? I'm also waiting to speak with auto power but the only solution I can see at this point is to have the rear brace bars re-welded inward a bit or heat up the rear brace joints, and with a ratchet strap, pull them slightly more inboard. Either way , I've already powder coated it so not too happy

Bummer, Mark. You’ll have to forgive me because it’s been well over a year since I did this install. I do think I remember that my rear stringers wanted to sit right on the seam of the wheel tub, and they actually moved inward a decent amount when I put a ratchet strap between them, cold. It’s tough for me to know just how far you’re off, and you definitely don’t want to over stress the bar before you bolt it in place, but giving those stringers a little bit of “input” would probably be fine. Be aware that there are slightly different versions of this bar between the coupe and the fastback, and I’m 99% sure the difference is in the placement of those rear stringers, so I wonder if somehow you got the wrong bar for your body style? That would be a bummer, but I would make Autopower make it right, if that’s the case. Anyway, I don’t want to type my contact info on the KZbin comments, but you can find me on Facebook or Instagram quite easily, and send me a DM (I think I even have my phone number listed). Though that’s really all I can remember about the install off the top of my head, and I’ve got interior panels in, so I can’t really take any pictures. Regardless, best of luck! Here’s hoping it will go in with some more fiddling.

@@crazycaseyscustoms Thanks for replying. I think I'll contact autopower and share some measurements. I'm hoping that I can get those rear stringers to move inwards about 1/4 of an inch.

Shoot, Mark, I think mine were probably off by that much.@@heymarkniceshot But that’s a good call.
