For all you geniuses in the comment section, this man gave you the blueprint to fix the problem. First, check your fuse. Five dollars. Second reset the codes. Third change the physical shifter $50-$100. Fourth check the brake light switch. $25.

I got a 2013 dodge charger rt. The warning light pops up randomly while starting or while driving i pull over and put in park and put back in drive and it goes away after that drives fine. Also with light on it shifts hard and light off shifts smooth and normal?

I am currently swapping out a charger into a magnum and everything is connected, ground is good, voltage for battery is good and still it won’t crank lights come on but no crank

What if it shows service shifter and when your driving the rpm’s accelerate a little higher at the same time than goes back to normal and nothing is wrong with my shifter, it shifts to park and drive normally, I think it’s something electrical because my dad drive it one time and said the wipers started going crazy

@@avalens0077 no I think it’s a blown fuse cuz all the lights just stopped popping up one day and it drives like normal now I still have to get it serviced to make sure it was a fuse and to replace it if it is blown

​@392_chorri I took it to the dealership and they scanned it for codes, gave me a printout with all U network codes, U0140 was one of them, I guess it's the BCM, only 400$ new, I try not to drive it they said it has a short circuit, the root problem is electrical BCM
