Problem with daytime running lights is that they turn off at night and you have no manual control to turn them back on when they look their best at night.

All my lights including my DRL worked prior to installing these headlights. I hooked everything up the same way you did in the video. However I used Posi taps to tap into my DRL for the top LED strip , for some reason they won’t come on. Everything else works now except my DRL

Make sure the posi-tap seated properly for the lead and that your ground is tied into the harness properly as well.

Hey man, just installed similar headlights into my 03 Silverado and used your video for reference which helped a lot! I wired into the parking lights thought. Issue I’m having though is there’s a pretty big gap between the new headlights and the grille, so much so I can see the wiring behind. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Since these headlight come with a bulb installed I wonder if it can be replaced with an HID kit or led bulb. ??

Thanks for the info I just got these exact same lights. How did the halogen beam pattern work in the projector style headlight? And also do you know if you can install LED in these projector style? I currently have LEDs in the factory style reflector housing and the light is all over the place

Where did you get the grille for your Avalanche?

It’s the factory grill. I just sanded the chrome and color matched it to the truck. The black Chevy bow tie was purchased on Amazon.

how would you get them to stay on all the time with the daytime lights and the lights that are on at night

I can’t get the top led beam to turn on. Any tips of what it could be?

So for the t clips, do you cut the red and black wire and then attach the clips? Cause I can’t get my upper U lights to come on

No need to cut. One side slips over your factory wire while the other slides into the clip. Crimp down on the jointer plate and lock down the cover.

When in the daytime running light position while the strips are off, if you engage the blinker, do they come on or stay off?

if you have the LED strip tied to the DRL, it will not come with the turn signal. It will only come on for the DRL. If you want it tied to to the turn signal then you need to wire it to the turn signal loom.

Definite improvement over the stock set up. Crisper light and a much better beam pattern.
