We have our All new Duster orderd, and this will be our 3rd Duster. We love the Duster even though we had 1 or 2 issues with our first one. Our current Duster as been faultless (apart from the fuel cap release mechanism). We can't wait untill we can collect our new car. We looked at the Expression trim but decided on the Journey trim. The only thing we will miss is the heated seats which are only availble on the Extreme trim.

Great review, Tish. Going to pop down the dealers at the weekend. Might wait for the Bigster, might not. Either way, Dacia have launched two good cars this year!

Designed for Finland? 5 months of snow and ice, in summer a tough roads to summer cottages. 4×4 Duster is perfect for a small family without a trailer.

Another great review Tish. Dacia have continued to evolve, however i am waiting to see what the Bigster delivers if it means a bit more room in the back seats.

Pretty impressive car. Seen various videos on the 4x4 version, seems very good.

It looks like a decent car and I reckon I’d be happy with one and given the way prices are going it’s good value. Depending on where you live, the fact it’s not fast could be irrelevant - I’m in an area with plenty of traffic, so that doesn’t really matter to me. It may be worth waiting for the Bigster for extra space if you need that.

“Narsty”… love it. Good review- Dacia definitely starting to up their game… hopefully prices won’t also go up..

Great cars - I had the previous version and really liked it. Sold mine to my brother in law and he still has it. If I was still buying ICE cars, I have another - but I've moved on to EV

It’s a pity that with this nice new design they have taken this step backwards with engine choices. A 3 cylinder petrol can be no match to the excellent diesel engine

Well done, great and well executed review. Very clear, no gimmicks, or silly music. Great review of a great car. Subscribed.

Do the back seats fold flat? - And what length is there between the back of the front seat, and the inside of the hatchback frame? Nobody reviewing cars ever says that critical dimension, they always quote litres, but how many litres is a plank of wood, etc?
@eugen13 күн бұрын
They don't fold flat. I agree, space should be like 500L with 450L usable
@mustafadingКүн бұрын
What are the dimensions of the plank? Then…….it can be calculated 😀

I really do love it. Massive strides from the brand is always good to see. Just wish everyone wasn’t getting away from manual gearboxes.

The old model didn't really catch my eye, but I may just take a look at this new model once the time comes to change my car... A plus is that this new version is projected to hold it's value rather better than the previous model did..... They seem reliable too, if the customer satisfaction surveys are to be believed.

Nice car, but when You are inside it is all cheap hard plastic and maybe a budget car but for me for a Dutch price of 31000 Euro for a Duster in Journy trim 1,2 not acceptable.

Very professional presentation. I too like programmes were affordable cars are reviewed, which in my opinion is not covered by the mainstream TV channels. The Dacia brand has been very well supported in Northern Ireland, mainly because (I suspect) for their diesel engines. Now that is no longer an option, it remains to be seen if their popularity will continue. This new Duster does look modern and more desirable than previous versions. I would give it serious consideration if the the stated Hybrid MPG matched or got close to a diesel engine.

such a great looking front end. rest is very nice as well. i wish they offered 4 cyl engines, preferably a diesel, though. i'm 31 and have only ever driven and owned old cars, my current one is a 27 year old mercedes c280 estate. i like going on trips across europe with my cars and taking the road less travelled... a 4x4 duster (or bigster...) would be perfect for that. not sure about those 1,2L 3 cylinders though... at almost 30k € with 4x4 and a bit of spec it's no cheap car at all anymore and considering you're only getting a leafblower for an engine, well, i'm not so keen to be frank. if i won the lottery, i'd still get one in a heartbeat, but my own cash... will stay with me for the time being. :/ i've driven one a couple of weeks ago and i kind of wish there was a purist's edition with basic dials and no screen. it's almost too much tech, or at least, too much _cheap_ tech in there... looking forward to trying out the bigster once it's available at my local dealer.

It might be improved but the 100% price hike over the last 8 years is a no no for me again even though I own an older one. They should have kept this cheap and practical in my view. A great video though.

That is not a Duster the Duster was made by Plymouth , Chrysle , Dodge and was a small compacted car I would know because I had two of them not a want to be SUV !
@robsmall64665 күн бұрын
Dacia is a bit older than what they have probably made out in this video. The modern Duster dates from 2012 but Dacia sold a Duster 4x4 back in the early 90's. It was before they were part of the Renault/Nissan/Mitsubishi alliance. Same time as Lada, FSO and Skoda pre VW started selling cars in the UK
