Thats awesome most of it transfers over to the new 900 platform. Did most of the torque specs also match up?

@@AUTOT3KHCL I never checked back expecting you to reply! Until a year later when I need a refresher because I’m swapping out tires again. Putting on a set of Anakee Wilds. I think most of the torques were right on. For folks’ reference and future historians: Tiger 900 Rally pro: Front spindle bolt - 65 Nm Front pinch bolts - 22 Nm Rear spindle bolt - 110 Nm For the 900, you actually don’t need to remove any of the calipers. You just pull out the axles and Bob’s yer uncle. Thanks again, my man!

Super helpful, can’t believe I’ve been taking the whole bike in. I was just changing a tube so this was perfect. Now I have confidence I’m not going to fuck it up even if I take the wheel in for new tires and balancing.

Great video. For some reason, one spacer seems smaller and doesn’t slide freely along the axel like the other. It stops the axel from sliding through. I took the wheel off and axel off fine but now cant seem to get it back on and I tried switching spacers around

Yeah, no one needs a failing brake line. I always have zip ties or old coat hangers lying around just for stuff like that. I’m like you, I don’t care if parts looks the same, I separate them as well lol. Nice job bro.

We may be slightly OCD but chances are you wont see us broke down from worn parts due to swapping them side to side haha

Yep blue loc tite is what I'm using and brake caliper grease is its own product, available at a local automotive parts store

Very helpful video. When i removed the ABS sensor on the front wheel there was no shim washer. Any ide on the shim thickness? Since all seemed to be working fine without the shim/washer - should i worry about it? (2012 Tiger 800 XC ABS)

If the light wasn't previously on, don't worry about it. If you had a light for a sensor performance issue then it'd be the shim. Perhaps my body style of tiger has quality issues for the sensor spacing so thats why mine has a shim

hey thats a Canadian 2 x 6 so it is 1 3/4 x 5 3/4 haha my old yamaha has the speedo cable on the front as well .. I always like to keep the spacers seperated left and right just incase haha . Take Care
