I just bought one(surprisingly well preserved, legit 146K mileage) as my own first actual car (even though I've been occasionally service driving for 10 years) And I'm absolutely in love! I'm easy to please because I've been a sports car fanboy all my life, and I live in a pretty poor country so getting the money together was pretty tough(Which made it all the more satisfying) I am in love. I needn't more than 133 hp, there is no place around to drive it faster, and it still scares the sh*t out of me this way! Even the factory exhaust is rather loud(balanced) and angry-sounding. one complaint about your comment on the simplicity of the package - not all budget cars come with seat heating, electric side mirror adjustment, electric-controlled sunroof and a couple more fancy things (especially in 2000) but every prelude had all those by default. That's some really nice gear as standard by my book. Cheers to all prelude mk.5 drivers, the 2.0i is really nice and handles nicely as you pointed. Design is timelessly sexy, a real bad boy Honda. Once again - buy one before it's too late, they may never get too expensive, but now is better than ever.
