ST-Line Select is the one, with the Tech Pack 2. Not only does it have near all the goodies from the higher models, but to me at least, the red pipping on the seats and steering wheel, add a much needed splash of color to the cabin !!

My daughter has a 2012 Escape Titanium with the 2.0L turbo. Great car. Literally zero problems to date. I would get it over the 1.5L turbo--although I rented a 1.5L Escape a few months ago and found the acceleration good.

The 2025 Escape Active starts at $27,995 because of decontenting. Gone are power seats and tailgate.

The 1.5 Ecoboost has had a ton of issues and I wouldn't mess with the hybrid either. BUT... The 2.0 Ecoboost is solid. ST-Line Select is the sweet spot and a pretty good value in this market.

@@SliderFury1 Totally approve of that statement; was looking at all the competition and could not find anything with around 250hp at under $35,000. These have a real decent amount of poke....cheers !!

I purchased the Platinum with the 2.0L Turbo engine and I love just about everything about this SUV but OMG... the 19" wheel design of the platinum is butt ugly...Who designed these ugly wheels? and who made the final decision to use these wheels on their top of line SUV. The Escape ST select with the solid color 19" wheels look so much better! Even the base model Active has better looking wheels than these ugly ass Platinum wheels!
