If they would make it more earodynamic.....with this much horsepower, getting beyond 500 km/h shouldn't be a problem. But at bugatti they also want to it to be a luxurious car and to have distinctive looks, etc. If they would put this engine in a car, designed only to be fast and nothing more, just like ferrari did with the enzo and the fxx, they should easily be able to make it go faster than 500 km/h.

This was truly fantastic achievement, shown by the fact no one else has really come close to it yet, 5 years later. There have been two cars in the Texas Mile that have done it, but the worlds top performance automakers (outside Bugatti of course) so far, have not even attempted it. Not sure about the Jesko, but judging from it's other Koenigsegg track cars, P1 will catch them in the corners too. @@videontekuro9399 Going into a pot hole at this speed won’t do anything, the car is going fast enough that by the time the suspension starts pushing the wheels down, the wheels will already have landed on the other side of the pot hole, you won’t even feel it. Of course if the pot hole is just long enough it’s going to be a tragic story.. even worse with a speed bump

It's not like a game, where you can skip a hole by going fast enough. Any dent in a road can reduce a fast car to nothing in seconds.

You can not drive longer the bugatti than 10 minutes when you drive the whole time at top speed. You should find a gas station every 10 minutes and refuel the car. This would be very expensive, for each full tank, it would cost over 100€ maybe 200€ for each tank. You would burn your brakes because you have to brake very hard and very often because of the traffic. And you could not drive 400km/h the whole time because of the curves on the highway, and you could not drive 400km/h on the highway, max. 330-350km/h. Those high speeds are just legal in Germany. And the bugatti would brake because it‘s not made in Germany, the bugatti would beginn to lose power and overheat and stop a few times for long time. This whole travel would need 2 hours at night on the highway.

No, they just filmed it at 120 frames per second instead of 30. It allowed the camera man to only have to maintain 1/4 the speed of the Chiron to stay ahead of it. Time lapse, stop motion kind of stuff. I think they even superimposed something.
