This sounds crazy but I was at that koons ford dealership in VA a few hours after you bought your TRX. Dropped my f150 off for service and I thought I saw your truck in the parking lot and after getting a closer look at the wheels and red badging I knew I stumbled across one Badass truck I’d seen so many videos about. So cool! Wish I could’ve met you man, hope the TRX is as Badass as you hope!

I'm a certified Chrysler tech and I drive a 21 F150 because I know all the problems with the Ram trucks. Hope you don't have the issues. Make sure you keep up with the software updates.

My cousin got a TRX about 4 months ago and has had several problems so far. I hope Mike doesn't have them. Personally I would have waited for the Raptor R

Radio will drive you crazy. Will go black screen, lock up. Seems like every 2 months they come out with another update to try and fix the problem. The hemi engine the last thing that gets oil is the lifters and I have replaced more cams and lifters because the bearings in the rollers on the lifters lock up and chew up the cam. The trans is not as bad as it used to be but keep up on the software updates and any recalls for it. The 8 speed trans you can only replace a few parts on it but if it has major internal issues you get a new trans.

I was never into cars or trucks that much but I just recently got my first truck ever and I am in love and can't stop watching truck videos. It's just a 2020 F150 XLT with the 5.0L V8, nothing compared to these trucks but for me it is incredible, I never thought I'd own a truck like this. I wanted a RAM, but I'm super happy with this Ford.

he has sold his TRX on May 27, 2023. He only have this for just 10 months, unlike Wimya's TRX that lasted for over 2 years (& he still does mods to it).

Hopefully they build these better than their regular trucks and other vehicles. Looks good, very fast and powerful, but you can't go far till something breaks on them

@@TheIronChainMaster These are built like tanks and very very few issues with them. Mopar has made a huge turnaround across the board the last few years and still going strong. I have a2021 trx coming from several Fords and the Ram is just a better truck IMO....

Hands down, RAM TRX is way nicer in every way when compared to the Raptor. Congrats, awesome truck with lots of aftermarket support! If I did not need to tow a house on wheels, we would already have a TRX. Can’t complain with the 2500 & Cummins…850 ft/lbs of torque with the same interior styling as the TRX & 15-20mpg…$$$ well spent!!!

My buddy has a TRX. You’ve gotta watch the metal TRX badge on the center console in the summer. It heats up and gets like a burner on a stove. If you’re not careful, when you get in after it’s been sitting in the sun, and you might end up with 3rd degree burns on you right forearm. 😅

F150 3rd gen Coyotes are in the 8's unopened motor and stock 10R80 trans.. TRX's need to be opened to hit 9's lol. F150 Platinums also have massage seats Ford won the Baja 1000 with 2 stock different gen Raptors. That V6 is better for weight distribution and beat Ferrari at Le Mans, but to each their own.

Anyways Gen 1 raptor was so far from factory it’s actually depressing it was called a factory truck. The gen 2 was actually more of a factory truck if you take the regulations and thing they were forced of of it. (Fuel cell, roll cage, race sits and 5 point harness) So they won 1 Baja 1000 with a factory truck. But it’s still impressive just it wasn’t 2

@@rau4329 I can actually link the rules for "factory" regulations. The Gen 2 only had geisers, regardless the TRX still hasn't completed it. The Raptor simply is the best, with twice as much dampening per corner, and bigger shock D.A., Fox > Bilstein, the better approach/departure/breakover and travel. Hell it even has a better towing/hauling rate. You're gonna tell me a roll cage is gonna improve the durability of the truck? That's a safety feature.

Definitely not a base TRX. This is basically a mid-trim, but it does have the TR1 package. He's coming from a Lariat F150, which wasn't exactly a top model, although it did have all of the goodies for that trim.

Its a great ride for sure fuel its expensive but worth it for me Iam currently averaging 15.2 mpg but have gotten as high as 16.2 so iam pretty happy . Congrats

Ill be an outlier here- I love the TRX. I will start with that. But the F150 with a whipple and your mods was pretty unique in the youtube world. The TRX is straight from the factory built as a "supertruck" Lots of youtubers have already "done that". You had a unique truck that brought viewership and now the TRX is - well another TRX. Ill still enjoy the tunnel blasts and your funny reactions about "love the sound-its sick" stuff. But I liked where you were taking the F150. I was screaming at the screen when you raced streetspeed because you just got going to the point you would have truly seen which truck was faster. I've seen backroad drivers f150 gap a TRX from a roll and from a dig. No reason yours wouldn't do the same. BUT- the TRX is literally built as a halo vehicle. And right now, from the factory, it is the baddest truck out there. Looking forward to seeing what your unique mods will be...
