Autumn 1st ever camp on a beach, the Sussex coast

I wanted to sleep next to the sea, to hear the waves all night. I've never had the courage to put a tent up next to a beach before but spotted a quiet patch of coast and went to try. It was a lovely camp, a mild and clear night with a soft southern wind.
In my trusty and discrete Helm 1, and only a 20 minute walk from the little car park.

Hey thanks for your wonderful encouragement, yes it was meant to be silly suddenly appearing with that great big log! I'm planning on getting an action camera as these videos are just with a phone. I've been ill all Christmas so haven't camped but plan a new year's eve camp out! How about you?

It's better to have the 900 than not!.. anything can happen at this time of year!. I loved the enthusiasm in the walk past.. you truelly fitted the tubestar pose,,, is that you becoming the diva already???? 😎... I enjoyed that, thanks for sharing... Take care out there.

@Chilternwildcamper can't camp on cliffs ,,nature reserves .but on shore line is OK.. although..some , who have holiday chalets have a moan..but,,seeing as you seem quite tough ,you'd be fine..don't camp on beach near Boscombe or town...stay as far from there as possible..

Good work Lesley. Great video. Looked a bit Eerie at times on the beach. Seems as though 900 was a bit warm for those conditions. By the way, I think you might just qualify as a ‘KZbinr’ 😂. Keep up the great work 👍🏼

@craig-outdooradventure4632 Ah maybe I am getting there, thanks so much for the encouragement. Am definitely going to get either a DJI 4 or a GoPro 10, that is my next step. The house sale is proceeding, and the move North is still the plan, want to make use of the Rab 900 😄

@ either of those cameras will do a good job. There will be loads of opportunities for hikes and wild camps in the lakes and Wales once you move. 😊👍🏼
