I appreciate the question Autumn L. asked regarding fitting in and being able to eat all the protein needed for our individual bodies. Your response for me was spot on. It fits my circumstances. While I am not new to IFF, I am new to doing it lower carb. Your channel has been so helpful and has turned this into a successful journey!😊

I’m 70 and have done the 16/8 IF since mid-May and lost 12 lbs even thru 2 car trips to visit relatives. I travel with 2 med size coolers and am not even tempted when my husband is munching on chips. I do allow myself to have a piece or 2 of pizza or ice cream on the trip but always after I eat some protein and good fat. By allowing myself a treat from time to time I don’t feel guilty about it. But the biggest change that has occurred my IBS symptoms are gone. The cramping, constipation/diarrhea is gone unless I have indulged in something that has added sugars or white flour but still not as bad as it once was. I’m going to mention it to my gastroenterologist when I see her next month that I feel sugar is the worse culprit of IBS than onions or garlic. BTW, I have no issues eating yogurt or cottage cheese. I do workout with a trainer 3 times a week doing free weights and machines and my cardio is on the elliptical because I live in Florida and it’s too hot to walk outside. I normally eat twice a day sometimes I need a small snack of protein and fat but most of the time I don’t need it. I just can’t see me getting off of IF, I just feel so much better now than before. Thanks for your videos on KZbin or I would never have found you. BTW, pregnancy agrees with you since you look great!😊

I appreciate the accurate information you give us, it really helps combat other people’s comments. Even my oncologist, when I asked about losing weight, said “consume less calories”. Thank you!

Your oncologist was exactly correct. He could have been more accurate and told you to get in a calorie deficit to lose weight. That is scientifically the only way to lose weight.

In Catholicism in Traditional Liturgical fasting seasons, we drink salt water during the day, it actually does work very well🙏🏼🕊 ❤

Yeah you seem very knowledgeable and your energy levels and mental sharpness seem very congruent. She seems to walk her talk…I remember the energy levels and mental focus I had when I was able to to do 16/8…been having a hard time getting back there..I think it was a lack of education and remembering in moments of weakness how things work, etc…to help me stay motivated….definitely going to do your course….

I'm lazy when it comes to eating. So I'm eating 2 high protein, fat and fiber meals followed by a some fruits or berries and I'm set for the whole day

You mentioned 6 small meals. I heard that we need to "Stoke the fire". I bought that idea and it derailed me big time!

I never do alot of cardio I do lots of weights and core aslo I never eat 6 to 8 meals a day i do 2 or 3 meals a day

The bottom line is that one must be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. I thinking tracking macros and calories is a way to make sure you are eating what you should be eating to feel satiated.

I'm not sure if you watched the livestream or not, but I would have to disagree entirely with that statement. Yes, you will lose weight, but just focusing on a calorie deficit is not specific or useful advice to help maintain the metabolic rate, increase energy levels, maintain/continue with weight loss or even to be healthy long term.
