wow, what a fantastic work. I would love to see more on the modeling part and how you shape things in blender, how you merge different parts and that sort of modeling workflow. Also, in case you take suggestions on what to model, pls make a SU-27 or SU-35, the swanlike lines of these jets are so incredible beautiful, i tried to model one for print but the shapes where too difficult for my current level of modeling. Thanks! i didn’t make blender videos as there are a lot of good blender tutorials out there, maybe I’ll make a few anyway. The su planes are extremely popular i’d suggest search on thingiverse maybe sketchfab for a free model so you could just focus on details instead of worrying about the shape. I don’t plan to build a lot of modern jets so you probably won’t see me making a su35, however I do at least plan to make my favourite jets like the yf23 and x32 😆

The problems and solutions you will be showing are the sort of our specific interest and not with the classic focus on just visual fx and such. Cheers :)

great job, model turned out really nice. Have you thought about making available the non-supported files so people can resupport in a larger scale? as an owner of some medium and larger format resin printers would be great to scale up to 1/250 or even 1/100

You can easily remove supports in good old Blender - Edit mode, Select all, Separate, By loose parts Might take a while for clean up, but in the end you'll get clean parts to work with.

hey dude absolutely love your builds and i want to get into 3d printing but still dont know what application to use. any opinion on what i should use?

Thanks! I've been using blender3d to model, lychee slicer to add support and export into stl files for printing. Blender is free and the amount of tutorials online available makes it very easy to learn, it's also extremely versatile. Lychee and chitubox are both great free slicer, imo lychee is better for manual support, while chitu for auto support. Both have very similar interface so you can switch around. But reguarding 3D modelling software, if you plan to have a career with it, i'd avoid blender, go with autocad for more engineering related applications, maya for game/animation related industries. All can be used to create models for 3D printing. Hope this helps!

ironically they have a huge 3D printer that makes most things in Bridgehead, the massive human city in Avatar 2. Which measn they can LITERALLY in universe 3d print C-21 dragons. I love the vehicles designs but hate how they tried to force a black and white "humanity bad hurrr" narrative. it gets really bad when you see how all the deleted scenes (AND THERES A LOT, all available on youtube) really flesh out the characters and their stories. BUT NOOOO james didn't want an thinking person movie. it's a woke toxic nerrative. Humans evil, blue cat people perfect all humans should die to protect environment the end.
