Its fascinating the movie they were trying to make. They spent years writing their own lore. They developed an entire language, and meticulously created countless plants and animals from scratch. This world is so realized and we only got a few hours and some books from it.

Avatar through its mirror story examples "reflects" from a number deep rooted sources then many realize , The films key catch phrase "I see you" has source connections to an essence expression example from one of many of earths native peoples , The phrase " I see you" is a form of internal "recognition" not common in our culture and is used by the Zulu to reflect the bond of internal spirit to spirit dialog ,, dig on the roots of this essence expression by searching on the word "Sawubona" and one will find it has very deep sourced roots indeed . kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHrNhp6Mj7eDgZo

The CGI for the movie was finished AFTER the shooting wrapped... So, there was no way for them to have real printed pictures with complete finished CGI characters while on the set. They could have made some approximate versions, but it seems they really didn't know how the final shots would look like (with characters and backgrounds), so at the time of shooting they had nothing to print that would make a correct-looking prop.

There are a few wee details like that. The avatars have eyebrows which the Na'vi dont have. Also the Na'vi are more slender than the avatars, it's mostly comparable between the males. The avatars have broader and more built pectoral and the Na'vi have what seems to be an extra rib that sits under their chest where the avatars it looks to be missing.

@@Kenneth45 It is relevant so people using avatar bodies have 1 to 1 translation of movement for most important part of their bodies too. Combined with having some vague likeness to the user and i guess have also parity with their nervious system. So several reasons for why avatars are mixed
@annalixe2 жыл бұрын
I've been watching a lot of these deleted scenes and a lot of things make sense now. Also notice a lot of things I didn't in the movie. For instance, I know the navi people had four fingers but I just noticed that Jake Sully's avatar body has five fingers like humans. And Trudy and Norm we're actually a couple which makes Trudy's death really tragic. She was the only one in the army that was on the avatars side she fought for the people. Before she died she actually said "Norm, I love you" but we obviously didn't get to experience that in the movie. Another interesting thing I like is I understand why Neytiri really hated humans - while in Grace's school her sister was killed by soldiers. I honestly love all these details I wish they put it in the movie even if it made it 3 hours long. I recommend you to watch all deleted scenes and the movie will make a lot more sense and a lot more interesting. Can't wait for Avatar 2 💙💙

That's likely what sets them all apart from Jake. Even though Grace and Norm clearly adore Pandora and the Na'vi culture, they have their own ideas on what the Na'vis are based on the research they studied prior to entering their world. Whereas Jake literally was shot into Pandora with no expectations, no prior knowledge, and a quiet resentment for his life after his injury. He was desperate for a new lease on life without even knowing it, so he when he told Mo'at his cup was empty, he meant it. And besides, the native Na'vi were under the impression that the sky people were like them, just with a vastly different culture. It would look super suspicious if she suddenly appeared in their native clothing like 'Oh hey guys I am TOTALLY like you guys now.' LOL
