My childhood. Avatar made me who I am today. I still have friends online from my Avatar phase. I hope to watch the show with them. I know I'm growing up. I'll be an adult someday and look back at Avatar. How every bit of it was worth it.

I I So true. My mom abandoned me and my aunt raised me and we made it a big deal to watch Avatar together as a bonding thing each week (when I was six when season 1 premiered) now I’m 20 and I still cry watching reruns, remembering when we put up our Christmas tree while watching the Ba Sing Se episode (my aunt passed away when I turned 10).

I would watch this show with all my siblings and step siblings when I was younger. It was the only thing we had in common when we were first getting to know eachother. Now my older stepsister is going off to college, and I feel like we all forgot about the good times we had. This show is special to me. 😢

I’m 22 and I have rewatched ATLAB 3 times in 8 months (all 3 seasons). I’ve recently got my first tattoo dedicated to Avatar because of the morals it has taught me growing up. This show was and still is so pure and is an incredible learning source for children and adults. The characters are written so perfectly and you really feel an emotional connection to them all.

1:58 this is my favourite song from the whole series. That melody always brings tears to my eyes every time it’s repeated in the show. The first time it’s used is in episode 3 when they leave the southern air temple and momo and aang look back at it because it was their home and now they’re the only ones left (and appa). It breaks my heart every time and the song perfectly captures the melody of the scene

The music is sooo underrated even as millions love it. This one piece of music invokes a feeling that cant even be described with words. It brings back memories of the 2000s of me and and my brother watching The last airbender marathons. We watched it so many times that we had memorized quotes and actions before they were even performed lol. Just rewatched ATLA for the first time in almost 10 years and i felt such a happy sadness. Happy that it happened, but sad that it came to an end. Literally no other cartoon can compare with this treasure. I hope my kids and grand kids watch this golden masterpiece.
