Its worth noting that A7X were just kids when the wrote this. A glimce into the genius to come ... All Hail Johnny Christ.

This was legit the very first song I ever heard from A7x, I was staying the night at my aunt's house & this then part 2 played back to back on some "heavy metal" station on dish network or something. been booked ever since 🎶🥰

It saved me too man, this masterpiece hits so hard dude, i can’t even describe it, and i think that’s what makes it so glorious at least for me and my experience and what i was going through when i first heard it. Avenged is my favorite band and they have done so much for me

The second half gives me chills every single time. Truly great songwriting. Talk about emotional.

This was actually a suicide note from their previous bassist this is Part 2 ... Part 1 was from the guys perspective finding him though it was a failed suicide attempt but he was not the same person afterwards basically left disabled 😔

What? Is that for real? They wrote a song with that in there?

I think you got that backwards, Part two is from the band’s perspective

again thanks for reacting to avenged sevenfold, i know there are plenty other bands/artists that can get you guys more views but staying with the core audience is something that many channels can't do, can't wait to hear more song reactions from this band

Awesome! One of their best songs and matt’s vocals here are some of the best he’s ever done. This was the first song that showed they were going to be more than a metalcore band (same album as unholy confessions believe it or not). This was originally a five minute metalcore song, then they turned it into a polished masterpiece of a metal ballad that imo still ranks in their top 5 songs. Also that catchy guitar solo riff Syn has in this song? Well the second half of Coming Home’s first solo they pay homage and use it again there, with a guitar harmony there and with faster BPM. It’s like an OG Waking the Fallen fan service.

Definitely more polished and the symbolism of the to perspectives work well to completing a story which a multi-tude of people can attest to!

Also, the song “So Far Away” is an homage to the final lyrics of this song. When the Rev passed (their original drummer), it was presumed to have been by suicide as well.

Yeah, Coming Home features basically the same thing with a faster BPM, though both of the songs are harmonized for this part.
