It paints a MOVIE in your head. Specially when you read the book of revelation. Its creepy. Scary. Everything in this song paints a picture in my head. Everything. Intro sounds like ground shaking and 4 horsemen coming out. Orchestra sounds like a calm before the storm and then everything is falling apart. Blood everywhere, everyone is shocked and crying. Everything is burning. This song gives me chills.

It happened before with others of their songs. I mean I swear I'd put most of the other songs from City Of Evil above this, also all the Nightmare album I think (even Tonight The World Dies, cause it's so unique and fits perfectly with the album), at least 5 songs from Waking The Fallen and many other tunes. But again, it's just my taste!

Definitely one of my top 5 A7x songs for sure! The writing and performance of this is masterful! The middle section with the orchestra sounds like it should be straight out of movie score it's so beautiful! Happy to hear you're going back deeper into the catalog! A lot of the songs on this album reference different parts of the Bible. Most of them being about the Fall of Babylon & the Book of Revelations. The name Avenged Sevenfold itself is a biblical reference of the story of Cain & Abel. It was said that when Cain killed Abel, his death would be avenged sevenfold (7x over).
