Aventon Aventure 2 Outfitting

In this video I go over some additions to my Aventon Aventure 2 that help me in how I use this E bike. I did however forget to mention the skid plate that is a must on these bikes as there are exposed wire on the bottom of the crank case that should you bottom out the crank set, you have some real issues.

I grew up doing flatland freestyle and racing in the early days before diamond frame bikes, and this bikes intended sole purpose was to be off road only. With that said, I've found it to be an enjoyable bike to ride elsewhere as well, hence the newfound need and understanding of road riding where a side mirror comes in handy like a car. This mirror, like I'm sure many others completely folds away for my off road trips so I don't have to worry about it getting hung up or broken.

Thank you. I'm looking forward to getting the bike back out this next season. I'd perhaps like to take it on a run to a volcanic cinder cone I've been looking at fairly near to a lake I often film underwater from my Kayak.

Thank you , I just got my Aventure. After reviewing your video and seeing a few more I realized that Aventon actually has changed the front light mount. Guess I’ll have to go to plan B now.

great video gave me some more ideas. It looks like you relocated the OEM light with a newer bracket? If so could you link it. I used an adjustable stem and the light does not fit now. Thanks, keep making videos, they are very informative.

Thank you! My light is still on the factory mount, but I did install an aftermarket crossbar under it to mount cameras on.

I have not changed my light mount. Perhaps they have updated or changed the light mount. I just added the carbon fiber mount bar.

Great video - did you have any issue with the bikeroo seat springs hitting the back rack? What TPI unit did you get?

Thank you for watching one of my videos! I have no issues at all with interference with the seat, even after cutting the seat post to lower another 1" It's been on some longer rides now and holding up great. The tire pressure unit I bought is this. I wanted this one because of the water resistance, internal battery and the way it charges via magnetic attachment like a smart watch. Again, thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing this video. I want to get the drone controller mount but I saw in the Amazon reviews that people were complaining about the screws that mount to the controller loosen easily and the controller could fall out. Have you experienced this any other problems?

I have not had any issues, but was a concern so I just put a small dab of blue lock tight on the screws when I installed them and have had no worries.

Yeah, I should have done that when I made the video instead of adding them to replies when people asked. While I'm still a fly spec in the youtube world, I think I'll start doing that. All items were purchased on Amazon except the skid plate was Ebay.

Hey thanks for the video, I’m really leaning on buying the aventure 2 , I’m interested in how your Dji rc connects, it looks like GoPro mounts. Did you attach those to the back of the Dji rc?

I did, and I'm running Kevlar liners ad well. While I'm equipped to replace 2 tubes if need be, I'd rather not..lol

The front rack is from aventon actually. I got it from them when I bought the bike. I have seen it on their site though.
