Armor Source makes their (TW"s) ballistic buckets, Same as Gentex makes Ops Core, used to be Ceradyne before Gentex. Just the way it goes these days all excellent company's with long track records.

You mentioned that the only issue with the ops core arms was the charge light. Can you speak a little more on that. I have the same setup and was about to purchase this light.
@tacticalappalachian42593 ай бұрын
@@dustinpainter7952 sure thing! The head set does not seamlessly clear the light when stowing on the back of the helmet. I have to nudge the muff up over the light in order to properly stow it.. it still works but it’s enough to get in the way when trying to be efficient in an operational setting.

Any issues with the flexi mic on the rac links? Axls website says they are incompatable
@tacticalappalachian4259Ай бұрын
@@tigrisphotosynthesis9796 absolutely none, I did have to use some force to attach the mic… but I’ve put some hard use on this set up and it’s held up thus far. Make sure you get the Gen2 RAC Link though they still offer both on their website.

@@GoonJr Are you using the Gen1 or Gen2 RAC link?

@ gen 2

@ so I have the Peltor Flexi Boom mic, seems to be what the GEN2 RAC Links are designed to be used with.. I’d start there. As far as PTTs go, DISCO32 will have literally everything you need. I can’t recommend those guys enough, as far as form/function/ease of use I’m not sure the competition out there can beat them. They also have great customer service with real world MIL/LE experience, any questions you have be sure to shoot them an email or give them a call.
