The weird fungus turned ALL water into lava. This melted the snow and ice, generating additional lava (instead of water).
I had a potion of water in my inventory, to douse any flames, but that too was turned into lava.

There is also toxic vapour (or whatever acid produces when it melts stuff) to acid.

thank you for showing me the fastest way to grow weird fungus. I always put it on the floor but your air method is almost instant!

fungus pixels reproduce when they fall so the higher they fall from the more u can generate!

One of my best runs was where I managed to get a fungal shift with oil to lively concoction (which I had combined from snow, concentrated mana and chaotic polymorphine). I didn't even think about the fact I had already picked up the oil blood perk so whenever I took damage, I bled lively concoction which healed me.

Once it accidentally happened to me in hell, fungus fell down into the abyss and it's amount start immediately increase, then caught on fire... (with my PC)
