If I remember correctly, you said that the ALT versions were recorded in Reid's home studio. That gave it a tone, clarity and texture that would make us all feel as if we were sitting in your cabin at night, cross-legged on the floor, listening to you in person. Interesting to take "Chains" higher, and "Aberdeen" lower. It must be very satisfying (and fun, I imagine) to experiment with your compositions, seeing what new visions of them you can create. And I do like the singing harmonies at the end, not that I have anything against the whistling in the original. It's just that the vocals are beautifully mellow and rich. Bravo once again.

Plus, as we'd been seeing when Avi was doing Saturday lifestreams, the key he would sing a song in depended on where his voice was sitting that day, usually low. We learn a lot about vocalization from him. He's a natural teacher.
