I've heard him sing 3 versions of this and all are so different I don't know if I could choose a favorite. Full choir version gives you chills, the full studio version is rich and cinematic and then there is this quiet, stripped back ,melodious version. I think he is creating a powerful body of work that people are going to be discovering for years to come.

One thing about a song like "Full Moon" is the skill, control, and emotion it takes to produce sound that is so tranquil and evocative. It's a lot easier for a singer to belt out a tune than it is to step back like this, where every note is intimate and out in the open. Avi has said that this song came to him when he was watching a full Pink Moon, and he wrote it as an homage to the beauty of the moon. As many have noted, every one of the 7 songs on his EP is very different from the rest, showing beautiful versatility and the truth of his heart.

Avi left on good terms because he needed time for his own well being and to be with his mom whom was pretty sick and he did not want to slow Pentatonix down ( he did not leave to go solo I think that was just a happy result.)
