Thanks for watching my man. If you need any help with patreon, I'm actually an advisor of the company so reach out! I'm going to become a Patron of yours to check and see how you are doing on there! Please put the original video of mine in the description. Explanation of what you are hearing: 120+ Tracks, I'll go back into the session and look for you, but my original version of this is here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHbaq3l8aa2YeJo and then on this remixed version I added Tim to half the solo... and boy did he add a lot! -- We've done a lot together since then: Sound of Silence, Bridge over troubled water and we are working on more now. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Jase, Peter Hollens is amazing, please check out his other work! I found him through PTX and became an instant fan!. As others have said he is a master of layering tracks, the "choir" you hear in his videos are usually mostly him. He has an amazing body of work as does his wife Evynne Hollens, another fantastic vocalist (the work on her channel is usually with instrumental accompaniment), they have many duets together. If you want to see him with Avi Kaplan look for Black is The Color of My True Love's Hair. Love, love, love Peter Hollens!! ♥♥♥

Sometimes he uses other voices though, to amazing effect. Honestly, Peter's version of "You Raise Me Up" is second only to Josh Groban's (my favorite version as it has has VERY special meaning to me), and it's VERY VERY close, simply because while Josh has the beautiful orchestra, Peter's is all vocal. In fact, given that, I'll go ahead and say it's on par with Josh's. And that is NOT a compliment I give lightly!

Im not a huge Hobbit fan.. but this really shook me. I have seen Home Free live a few times, and Tim's bass is so low it literally shakes the entire venue.. Last time we saw them we were down in Raleigh NC visiting my daughter who was in the row in front of us.. I leaned forward to say something to her and almost landed in her lap the vibration from Tim was so HUGE!! Enjoy.. if you get a chance, Watch Adam (the beatboxers ) arrangement of Do You Hear What I Hear? Folsom Prison Blues is awesome too.. Tim looks so evil.. especially when he smirks after hitting the inevitable super low note.. and Adam Rupp the beatboxer just looks like he needs to be medicated lol.. Thanks!!

I admit to a preference for beautiful tenor voices, and even a countertenor or two. However a good Bass is a gift I truly appreciate. Peter understands his guests’ strengths and weaknesses and arranges accordingly. He’s also super humble and really lets his guest shine. Peter has already done Misty Mountains by himself and it was epic. But he rearranged an already complex song because Tim. Watch his Skyrim theme with Lindsay Sterling.

I'll give another vote for more Peter Hollens. There's never enough people doing reactions to him and he often will watch your reactions and will often comment on your reavtions. He'll also occasionally do a reaction to your reaction. I've always liked his stuff with Lindsey Stirling. I recall the one video had the stats at the beginning of something like 118 tracks of violin and 127 vocal tracks. The amount of time and effort Peter puts into his music and videos simply can't be understated. I'd also suggest listening to his entire Middle Earth themed album that he released. I actually prefer Peter's version to Sheeran's version which is kind of mind boggling. His video for the Hobbit Drinking Medley is amazing as well. If you'd like something with Avi in it, I highly suggest Black Is the Color of My True Love's Hair. I don't know what it is about their rendition that just brings me at least to the verge of tears if not past. Every. Single. Damned. Time. Peter also has worked with Andrew of "Songs to Wear Pants to" fame. Always fun to see what weird things Andrew has brought to the table (from tuning cats to zombie ninjas to robot pirates to pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows to 99 red balloons played on red balloons...) and combining that with Peter is just great.

Geoff Castellucci of VoicePlay does a version of this song, in his case it's called Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold. He's costumed, like Tim and Peter, and there are 4 of him, 4 distinct characters. Oh, and his final note if just as jew dropping as Tim's. Geoff mostly makes himself x4 in his solo videos. My favorites are Monster Mash and the Elvis cover Way Down.

Peter Hollens Into the West. Excellent song. Most of his videos if not all are filmed in his native Oregon. You really need to spend some time with him.

My .... This was the best rendition of Misty Mountains ever. I was crying on the first verse I think. Breathtaking, spellbinding, haunting, beautiful...no words...

Loved it --- but a good idea to go ahead and watch to the end ... Peter drops a few others too. Peter and Tim "pair" really nice ... with several others. Also -- Peter and HF collabs on several... and they are so so good. They work well together but you'll need to see for yourself, don't just take our word for it. Hey, before going to much further .... be a good idea to check out the SingOff stuff ---- Most will agree with me on this!!! I'll do the leg work if you'll do the reactions ... One at a time, or two at a time --- and all have been done at once even. But watch each from start to finish... it's important to do so. I think you will really enjoy it -- DEEPLY!!! :) Really can't stress how important it is that you react to these sooner rather than later. (IF Mayday is requested, please please please hold off till after these! , you can thank me later): kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJfdlZKIgKx7d7M kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6rNc6uQarirf5Y kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4qofYNnptx5d5o kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmjHnIZ8rs2Xq80 kzbin.info/www/bejne/bImyqox5frCEaZY kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4q2g4V_bNegg7c kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnqkaWR8n8iXmpY kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3_VZX97mpp8oKc

Found this at random, been a hollens fan for years now. You want crazy look at either his skyrim song with or without Lindsey Stirling I believe he's got something insane like 1,000 vocal tracks in that rendition. Peter is a real talent, I'm one of the lucky ones I've seen him perform the Skyrim Song live up in Portland, OR where Lindsey performed when on her first tour and Peter came up from Eugene where he lives to perform. I'm further south on the coast, but yeah Peter and Tim are out of this world and Tim is like one of the lowest bass voices around just as good as Geoff Castelucci of VoicePlay.

This is jut a small part of this song.. Tolkien wrote 26 quatrains (verses) to this song. It is in Tolkien's first novel, "The Hobbit" and is divided between three different chapters in the book.
