I have the same question. The only reason I could see someone pulling off like that is if they were somehow avoiding another plane coming towards them.

Josh and Chelsea, I've been watching your channel for a long time and really like what you teach. Wilbur was the brains behind the Wright Brothers but died 1912, his brother died in 1948. They were a team, but if you read the history of the brothers, Orville rarely mentioned his brother, which is unfortunate, but Wilbur was long gone. I did not know about that wonderful mechanic, now I do! What a beautiful area it's so wonderful you your still vlogging, many of your colleagues on You Tube have disappeared. HIlton Head is quite an expensive and classy area. It's scary and frustrating when you data disappears, I am so glad you were able to recover it. Cheers, Rik Spector

Good airmanship (or airwomanship?) on the go around, low pass and notification to others at First Flight. Enjoyed the history lesson. This country does have its history; as a proud naturalized citizen and commercial pilot, I say USA 🇺🇸.

My wife and I were fortunate enough, along with another couple, from the Reno Airport, to attend the Centennial back in 2003. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate (rain and wind) and the replica Wright Flyer could not/did not fly. Otherwise, it was very special to see where powered flight began. Your content is always inspiring, keep up the great work.

First Flight is in my logbook. If you guys fly into FFA, make sure you are vigilant. There are so many different factors that come to play in the vicinity of that airport, not to mention the restricted and special-use airspace around the airport.

Another beautiful video Josh! Thanks for letting us fly along with you. Loved the video at Kitty Hawk N.C. The video was so clear, I was able to read the information boards that were there! Amazing what the Wright brothers did to introduce the aviation dream to America and the world! The flight to Hilton Head was beautiful. I caught myself gazing through the lens of your camera and almost feeling like I was up there with y'all! Thanks again for all your great videos and I look forward to your next flight to the Bahamas!

Well Done! That was beautiful camerawork and scenery. Welcome to my neck of the woods, hope you enjoyed your stay. We were overhead at Kitty Hawk coming back from Ocracoke on a birthday flight in the Velocity for my cousin when I heard your radio call. I wanted to call but you sounded pretty busy with the disabled aircraft off the runway. Kitty Hawk is my regular Young Eagles check points and the kids are thrilled to see it from the air. Being just down the road, we always visit First Flight on Dec 17 for the annual first flight celebration. Hope you get a chance to come back some day.

Josh, there is always so much to love and enjoy in every successive video you produce, professional all the way. I've watched all of them (loved NYC Hudson River at twilight), and they're fast becoming the favorites of my main crew member(my wife). You and Chelsea are a great team of aviators and great couple -- an inspiration on both accounts. 😉Excellent call on the GA at KFFA. Here's looking forward to the next one.
