Only thing I change is the fireplace into a gas instead of wood. Seniors may have a problem hauling wood. Been there done that when I was younger. It's a full time job. Otherwise great 🎉

AND... if you love climbing a ladder everytime it snows more than 6" to get on the roof to shovel it off, this low pitched roof is the one for you. AND.... for those of you who have never shoveled a roof, if the snow is the heavy 'damp or wet' kind, when it hits the ground and porches & stairs, it turns into rock hard cement. so be prepared to have twice as much fun...

One more thing, with the price of food these days, more and more people are starting gardens. A door in the kitchen is a very definite plus. No one wants to run the length of the house to snip a few herbs!

Builder should have sprung for a designer: different wood tones all over & the tile breaking up a space with limited sq. footage...... could have been so much nicer. Quality materials but falls short of what it could be. Big wrap-around porch is nice, tho.

Beautiful but sadly impactical. No storage at all. Bathroom way too small and w/o a linen /towel cabinet or area for dirty clothes hamper. Broom/mop/vacuum closet missing as is washer/dryer area. Small pantry would be nice. Where does hot water heater sit? Come on guys, you can do better.

Not every house is for everybody. And in the plans that are very reasonable it states you can change things. But with that sq footage I think the design is nice.

Kitchen is inadequate. Hasn't anyone told the designers that the kitchen is the heart of the home? Also, an open floor plan like that is cringe worthy. Unless you specialize in 'take-out', the grease will eventually mess up the furniture. Awful.

No utility room? I see no stairway for a basement and, yet there is no place for a furnace/hot water heater. You might as well buy a tent. This is wildly impractical.
