Just visited my daughter in Jacksonville. I like how they have so many things to do outdoors and the people are super friendly

I live in Orlando and am looking to relocate to Jax. Sounds like typical Florida living. The mosquitoes & the heat are my least favorite things about living in Florida. Gotta have Home Defense, citronella body oil/ mosquito spray, a personal fan, and a water bottle on deck at all times.

Native yogurt for 30 years in Virginia you are so right and your statement about the traffic to Jacksonville is frustrating, but it is the construction that makes it worse and any state, but there are more suburbs that are so pretty

I currently live in Miami... We deal with the same issues but the the biggest differences ( and the reason I'm considering moving to Jacksonville) Out of control apartment rent and the cultural and language barriers. If you didn't know you were in Miami you would swear you were North Cuba🙄😞😞😞
@drrealestatejax9 ай бұрын
Navigating the cultural and language barriers can definitely be a challenge. That's the beauty of considering Jacksonville - a change of pace and scenery can make all the difference. Thank you for watching!

As a Miamian moving there I laughter at this video. Especially the traffic. When it's 2 am and your still stuck in traffic then you can complain! 😅. These are Florida problems in genera!.

I’m looking to move to Jax by May this year. I DO NOT want to see SNAKES and GATORS in my yard nor house!!! I can deal with lizards I love downtown seen may move that way and away from water tho I’m moving there because of beaches mainly and closer to my grown children and grands I’m leaving SC Myrtle and Charleston beach was the closet 4 hrs. away and it was killing me lol I’m originally from Buffalo ny wheee I could enjoy Niagara Falls Lake Erie crystal beach and more and I miss it so much. Will lot move back to buff. I’ll try Jacksonville . Which is the best place to live where I’m not too far from beaches but not too affected by floods ? Thanks !! 🌞oh did I forget about the heat???? Love it!

What's your take on living in downtown?? I might move to The Plaza condominiums, 400 E Bay, seems like a fun building and walking to many things. Your take?? Good investment?

Downtown is about to be BOOMING!! We are receiving calls the Emerald Trail, which is going to connect all the historic areas. I definitely think it will be a good investment in years to come.

Been here in Jax since 83' . In construction the whole time , I know just about every inch of Jax and surrounding areas . I've lived in many different houses here ,people that come here from northern places don't understand that #1 you HAVE to have pest control for your house and importantly, your lawn if you want to control bugs / lizards . If you don't you WILL have lots of bugs and lizards eat bugs so yeah ,they go where the bugs are . Bugs ,all bugs need water that's what they are looking for ,water sources . If you don't take care of your houses( pest control , lawn spraying , pressure washing house ,etc ) they will be a problem. You can't eliminate all but "control " is the thing . Geese might be the worst problem now , they are everywhere, and they poop everywhere, it sucks you can't do a thing about them ,they're "protected " by dome 150 yr old law .
