Quite informative. Thank you. If the frosting mix gets runny can we not add some corn flour to thicken it? I ahb3 trued making a little corn flour slurry, cook it, cool.it qnd added. Adding just the floyr guves a residual taste of corn flour in the icing. Would it work here? After all the store bought icing sugar does have corn flour in it. I have not used cream cheese in icing so far. Will try afrer watching this. BtW, i really couldnt help laughing out when i heard the voila....(vaayla😂)

Good Day🌸 I really love this frosting recipe, But i need to travel with a cake covered in this frosting for about 4hours, I will be on a plane for an hour and 3hours in between for additional travel Do you think it would arrive alive on a 3layers 8 inch red velvet cake? or should i go for another frosting? I will pop the cake in the fridge the entire night prior to flying

Unless you put it under direct sunlight it shouldn't be a problem.. the cake should survive the travel in my opinion..

Hi Don't we need to add whipping cream in this cream cheese recipe??? Cuz in india u might know cream cheese means whipping cream plus cream cheese. Please enlighten. Thank you

OMG!!! seriously?? A traditional cream cheese recipe does not have whipped cream added to it.. It definitely needs butter.. what you are talking about is a frosting recipe without butter which I had shared few weeks back but it is definitely not cream cheese frosting..

@@bakewithspicesandflavors yes it is. If you see recipes of red velvet cake or any other cream cheese frosting recipes on you tube by indian bakers... Most of them use whipping cream in cream cheese. So m bit confused. Whats actual cream cheese recipe n what's d froasting for cheese cakes n red velvet cake??

@@divyabhargava8336 Hmmm well I cannot comment on other videos.. all I can say is a traditional cream cheese frosting definitely has butter in it.. atleast that's what I learned in my year long bakery course here in New Zealand.. adding whipped cream would turn it into whipped cream cheese frosting..

My cream cheese after whipping always taste like as if it is some old product even tho I use a new pack. Like it has a weird taste even when mixed with whipping cream . Why is it so ?

I think you are not using the right brand.. which brand are you using.. Dlecta is a leading brand in India and Philadelphia in overseas.. If you can find Philadelphia in India then use that
