Avowed Is Looking SO GOOD (Extended Gameplay Breakdown)

People need to remember a lot of xbox games like Avowed are AA in scope, not AAA. MS is not spending a ton of money on most their games outside Halo and COD. Avowed is probably a 35-60 million dollar game unlike Sony who spends $200 million on games. Avowed is not meant to "save xbox" or anything like that. Enjoy the game for what it is. Please don't compare it to popular AAA games after launch.

meh. Look at the animations already at 9min when they start to show of the gameplay, when I hit a creature and it is a hit I expect it to stagger and get hurt in some way, not just see a bloody shower and nothing else from the creature... 2024 and I am 41 so I expect perfection from game studios I grew up with, no more crap like Bethesda pulled over us with StarFailed for me thank u very much.

This game was still in an earlier build when they showed it. Since this trailer Avowed has moved to Unreal Engine 5.3 with the help of The Coalition. Obsidian has also said they are listening to feedback and working on the melee combat. Xbox Game Studios is also providing Obsidian resources to help with the game. We will see Avowed again in two weeks at summer showcase and it should be much improved in all areas.

Microsoft really hasn't delivered games to it's fans in over 3 years. Almost all games are third party, so they are buying these 3rd party developers, hoping they can compete with Sony. This stream is their attempt to once again try to convince XBox fans to wait another year for upcoming games.

And you are absolutely incorrect on that count. As someone who has been rocking a Series X with Ultimate Game Pass for the past few years, somewhat around 85% of the content produced on my channel is Microsoft-backed titles. They are very much equal to Sony, and you won't be able to convince me otherwise when the facts of my channel directly contradict your claim.
