This has come at a time of uncertainty and turbulence after the recent death of my husband of 50 years. My perception of time has changed as I'm traveling solo now, in a timeless, nameless and endless space and it is something l realise is essential....a space between the dead and the living.I'm processing so much and aloneness is both basically peaceful, albeit a bit confronting. Finally I'm understanding myself because I avoid distractions of any kind and simply observe . A truly unique time in my life.

I needed this so much. I’m glad you’re uploading these kind of videos again, but I also love the guided meditation ones of course. Just these really ground me and inspire me to be myself!

Im over judgemental, a compulsive self-beater. This is a response to childhood trauma. Im aware but still resist, wanting to be perfect, not accepting my human flaws. Self-compassion should help, but it doesn't.

Would you say someone is conscious when they’re aware of a unconscious behaviour? Or are they only conscious when they behaviour changes? When they no longer exhibit the pattern compulsively, unconsciously. My understanding would be that to be truly conscious, you wouldn’t exhibit that pattern again and that just having knowledge or awareness about your unconscious patterns isn’t being conscious but more of a recognition, an insight.

I would say there are degrees of conscious awareness, just as there are many layers to our behavior. Being conscious of our behavior is only partial. It's only the surface level. We must also be conscious of all that is giving rise to that behavior. When you see the entire mechanism from root to surface, then you can say you're fully conscious of it. But even then, it may not cease entirely or immediately. It can be compared with turning off a fan. Even when there is no longer any power to drive it, the blades will continue to spin for a time, gradually slowing down before they come to a complete stop.

Make a meditation for healing shame or loneliness

I think that forming an intimate connection with oneself through recognizing one's own vulnerabilities and accepting and being at peace with it is how you deal with loneliness. Meditation could be one of the means but connecting to oneself should be the goal.

Thank you for the lecture video. By the way, I can't support you on patreon etc. but I do have a request of a lecture video of sorts (if you can make it) for me and others in a similar situation. Up to you though, eventually of course. I have watched your past videos too on similar topics like non attachment etc. but I'm still struggling with this problem of sorts: I've gotten attached to a woman who already has someone in life. I stopped interacting with her but I just can't move on and let go. I want to free myself completely and I want to reach a point in life where I don't drive inner happiness or joy or peace from such things. How do I completely let go of her in my mind? Like 100% without ever looking back? I know and I heard in some of your past lectures that things like love, peace, happiness, acceptance and validation exist within, but how do I implement the idea thoroughly? I know I can search and look for other videos but yours help a lot so I thought I'd ask if you could make a lecture video on something similar or same. Thank you in advance.

I don't use Patreon, so don't even worry about it. I was actually thinking about making another video exploring just how to let go of attachments. I know how challenging it can feel, and I've certainly struggled with that quite a bit in my own life. I'll see if I can have something ready to upload by next week. I will say this in the meantime; any kind of inner growth or transformation tends to take a bit of time. It's often the case that we have to attend to the same thing over and over again, but each time we resolve it a little more. In regard to letting go of attachments, it's often that we learn to loosen our grip and let go a little bit at a time, until eventually we find that we're no longer holding on at all. So it's important to have a balance of patience and perseverance. Often we can get a bit impatient, which leads to further frustration and agitation, as well as stagnation. But if we're patient in our persistence, we actually progress much more smoothly and quickly.

@@AwakenInsight Thank you so much for the reply. Really looking forward to a new lecture video by you on this. That would help a lot. You always have some useful tips, suggestions and advice. I hope you use my exact comment in the video, like you do in some of your videos. Thanks you in advance by the way.

This practice is difficult to do when I still have resentments of being blind in my left eye and it was supposed to be patched as a child but my parent never cared to see me happy. It doesn’t help that we live in a narcissistic society filled with people hell bent on controlling others and destroying everything I build and or try to build and if I tried to explain this to you might think I’m insane. Seems to me I’m the only normal person around immature so called adults projecting there hatred onto me by yelling laughing and sitting back waiting to cast spells on me. Witchcraft is real man and this world is under a strong delusional spell that has made everyone into raging lunatics
