Dragons' Den

2 жыл бұрын

Chris Rea and Tom Carson were next into the Den to pitch their clothing brand aimed at youngsters. They're seeking a £75,000 investment in exchange for 15% of their business.
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

So he's selling these at £59.99 and claims that to be half the price of his competitors which means the next cheapest onesie on the market is £120. I have never, ever seen a onesie priced at over a hundred pounds so I would love to know where they are doing their market research. I'm so over idiots like this that think they can iron a logo onto the front of some pre made fruit of the loom crap and call themselves fashion designers. It's embarrassing

I dont believe this brand ever hit the big time, like Superdry or Jack Willis, but I do fear the shelf life of university brands. Give them 4-5 years, and few fresh intake of students, and there be a hot new brand, looking to sell to the freshmen students.

What happened to the Onesie Boys after the Den: They decided to decline the offer after the show. The YoungOnes company status shows that it's been dissolved on August 17th 2021. Interestingly, their website is still operational! Not only that, but it also has a "Copyright 2022" on it, and their Instagram account is still making posts. Through their website, I've found out that they have a company called "Y1 Sport" now, so it seems that they've just consolidated everything under it. Don't quote me on that, I just spent 10 minutes doing a google search.
