FYI the same genius (Ted Philipakos) that turned around Venezia on the field and rebranded them with great kits recently led the takeover of Athens Kallithea and just got them promoted to the Greek first division. So they aren't copying Venezia, it's the same guy and the same design studio that made both badges and kits for each club.

Vasco Da Gama is a traditional club from Rio de Janeiro. They're having financial difficulties, went down and right up in Brazilian league. Dmitri Payet left the club in December after playing there for 2 or 3 seasons. Coutinho went back last season, but I don't know if he's there this season,that starts now in January. Now till April Vasco compete in the Rio state championship and afterwards it's the Brazilian national league.

It's so hard for women who are shirt collectors to find older shirts that fit us, my happiest moment as a collector was when I found two 90's fluminense(my club) shirts in children's size that fit me perfectly and were also my personal holy grail. I still have to find one from the 80s to be at peace though. I hope to see more women on the channel for the next episodes, it's really nice!

It’s a Cranberry Bog and they flood the fields because the cranberries float and the spiders (wolf spiders which are used as a “natural pesticide”) seek dry ground above water which in most cases tends to be the cranberry farmer and they crawl all over them

They’ve had legendary players like Romário, Edmundo, Juninho Pernambucano, Juninho (formerly of Middlesbrough and Atlético Madrid), Philippe Coutinho, Douglas Luiz, Andrey Santos (a rising star currently playing in France, owned by Chelsea), Roberto Dinamite, Ademir, and many more icons. Aaah Nieve, you saved the best till last. Vaya River ! Although you are right about the Italian shirt, it drips style and class. I still think the 2004/05 (Budweiser) home shirt just has the edge over the 96-98 one. I got my 04/05 shirt direct from Argentina. Twenty years later, I just looked at the online store to see what it would cost to replace, I'd better be more careful when I'm wearing it 😯 My dad was in the Merchant Navy in the late 1950's. Beef from South America to London. Hence my teams are River Plate and West Ham (other than my home town team obvs - Mansfield Town). He always said it was a tough shout for prettiest city between Buenos Aires and Montivideo. Watching this made me shed a tear or two remembering him...

Italia 90 was just magical. Weirdly, on paper, it's one of the worst world cups ever but the players to come out of it were just icons. It was also a different time, when we knew very little about opposition players, even some of our own players. There wasn't much football on TV back then. I was eight years old and I just remember the whole summer being amazing. Even though I lived through it, that is still the one I'd go back to, if only just to see my dad.
