I think you can access the fill plug from above, also you only needed to remove the second bottom cover. I have a hand pump as well. Since you bought a quart and you only need a 1/2 qt. I use our to flush the pump. Clear tubing is better too.

Impressed with you using Amsoil SG fluid instead of GM' s lube. GM dealer wants 40 bucks a quart, and they recommend a change at 40k miles. Amsoil is half the cost, and they recommend a servicing at 80k, so I will not have to deal with this until I hit 200k. Important for this Uber driver.

Ohhh man I like the amsoil. It’s a noticeable difference! And I called amsoil to confirm compatability. It’s the right stuff 💪 Perfect for someone who puts so many miles on there car like you 🙌

After the Army I bought a new 1973 AMF HD Sportster. From Day One it kept breaking. My dad (an aircraft mechanic) loved that XLCH because it always presented him with a problem to solve and he loved the challenge to make it right. I think you guys would have got along.

Thanks for posting the links for the diff fluid and pump. I also have a question about your wheels, what make and model are those. My have bad curb rash. Or where did you get them? Please and thank you, plus another informative maintenance how to.. keep it going.

Niche Misano wheels, 18 x 8, 5x115👍 Amazon is a good place to start. But other wheel places sell them too. I like Amazon cuz they are usually good about providing support if there is a problem. Hope that helps! Thank you for the encouragement 🙏

I drive my 16 ATS4 for uber and I think I killed my rear differential its so loud I'm not sure if they sell rebuild kits or if I'm stuck buying a new one.

Yeah I ended up buying a used rear differential with 10k miles on it for $500 but unfortunately now my ATS is in the big junk yard in the sky some kid pulled out in front of me and I hit him going 38mph was not at fault but now I'm sad that my ATS is gone such a great car

I have to ask, is that a coal furnace in your house? Also the garage is open to the basement? Boy, seems like it has kinds of fire code violations. Or is the house so old that it doesn't need to conform to the fire code? Just wondering. Anyway, good video.
@sstressfl
@sstressfl 3 жыл бұрын
Its not technically a garage :) It's a garage door opening in the side of the basement. It's primarily for bringing fire wood inside for the wood burning furnace :) The house has two furnaces... an oil burner and a wood burner. Two thermostats up stairs. It can run on one or the other. Its a very safe and well built house. However, there are no residential standards in the State of Vermont. "Vermont does enforce building codes for commercial properties and multifamily rentals with three or more units. But he stresses there are no statewide building standards for single-family homes and no real recourse for unhappy customers." www.wcax.com/content/news/No-Standards-455655513.html

This is why you should never buy from cheap car lots, they buy from auctions.

True! But I bought it from a ford dealer. The ford dealer received it as a trade in on a new suv. Previously it sat as a demo at a Cadillac dealership for a couple years with a spotless record. One owner drove it for 12 months. It proved too small. It was never in auction.
