My father was a naval aviator. He told my mother every time he flew a night sortie off the carrier, he'd see the skies in all its glory and he would sing, alone to himself, in the cockpit, How Great thou Art. I wish he was still with us he would have loved this version.

This was shot by a drone in the Alps of Austria, when they were there a few years ago for a music festival. Did you notice the beat boxer was singing? He only had a few lines, but it proves he can sing, too.

I love that Adam R. (beatboxer) got to sing in this one. I mean, he’s obviously amazingly talented at what he does but he’s also a wonderful singer, and I wish we got to hear more of that. But it’s clear that all the Rupp siblings have got some awesome pipes.

I’m always blown away by their version of this hymn. The fact that Adam Rupp is a tenor and sings just as well as he beat boxes is a testament to his many talents. Tim, hmmm he is fantastic as always. Austin at the end with his high tenor notes sent that hymn straight up those mountain peaks. Rob and Chance were so good in this that I can tell when they’re carrying the melody or singing harmony. Head phones is the only way to listen to Home Free.

When you hear a bass line and Tim is singing......Chance takes over the Bass line. Just an FYI. Would love to hear more of them. They sing some really fun songs, but when the song is serious they're very good. Loved your comments. A song with very good harmonies is a cover of the Eagles song "Seven Bridges Road" it's awesome . That feeling of majesty you get when you see the magnificence of this world? Yeah, that's because God's showing off His beauty and power. "For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and Divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. " (Romans 1:20) or As Psalm 19:1 says, "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the heavens show forth His handiwork." ...or as Genesis 1:16 puts it, "He made the stars also." That's why I love this song (and this arrangement is FLAWLESS, especially with the inclusion of It Is Well as a bridge). Really pulls that feeling of grandeur into focus and gives it perspective. Okay, okay I'm done gushing.

I will say you do clean up nicely! This song has special meaning to many people, myself included. They were at a festival in Austria and they though they’d take advantage of the beautiful scenery and do a video for this song that they had been wanting to do. It was definitely breathtaking! They released a new video yesterday. It’s an old Statler Brothers song and they did an homage to the late Harold Reid who just passed recently. It is a quarantine/at home video, but I know you’ll enjoy it. It’s called “Flowers On the Wall”. Prepare yourself because there’s loads of bass in it. I have a really good pair of headphones and I don’t wear them all of the time, but for most Home Free or any other music that has loads of bass, I wear them.

This one in particular is one of my favorites. Sometimes when a group of singers are really "on" their harmonies ring the full set of harmonic overtones. Its pretty rare for recordings to capture that. This recording captures that better then most. (analog recordings are better at this than digital recordings). Hope all is well in your world Jase, thanks for the terrific content.

I wasn't always a believer, but became one when I discovered (I mean, it was pointed out to me) that there are no scientific explanations for 'metaphysics'. Metaphysics being attributes that don't have a physical form. For example: Beauty, Morality, the nature of truth, mathematics, logic etc. There are no scientific ways to prove these things, yet we all agree that they exist. Science actually ASSUMES that math and logic work because analyzing data requires them to work. That overhelming awe you get seeing that mountain range on a screen, let alone in person, is commonly refered to as God's 'natural revelation' and God has said that is sufficient knowledge of him and no one has an excuse. I hope you Jase, or anyone reading this, seeks him out to find forgiveness of sins. God bless :-)

If you watch the older Home Free videos, you’ll see that the guy with the hat-Chris Rupp-is no longer there. He’s one of the founding members of the group (the beatboxer is his brother) and he now sings in a group called 7th Ave with his sister Tristin. Their version of This is Me from The Greatest Showman is guaranteed to bring chills, even without a bass. Also look up ChrisRuppOfficial and his collaboration with Mia Primavera on If the World was Ending.
