@@damiensarmoury3014 No. The concept was around in the late 1700s. The first 'power hammer' wasn't built until 1840, and that, along with its many descendants, was steam powered. So, if we're going to differentiate torches between plasma and acetylene, then the same can be said of power hammers. They don't have a steam powered one, so power hammer is out.

When I was a kid my father tested out his new lathe by making me a baseball bat. It was beautiful, well formed, good weight, varnished to perfection, it was wonderful. What we didn't know was that there was a large crack in the center, running almost all the way down the bat. First time I really got a good hit on a ball, it shattered into a hundred pieces. I was devastated.

Nail bats, while intimidating, have horrible sustainability as a weapon. Each hit makes it less effective and just having the nails in it make it structurally less durable

But that's point in-game tbh. Make something plain looking, in this case a regular baseball bat, into something scary that might make raiders think twice about attacking you. You may not intimidate a Super Mutant or a Deathclaw but it may scare off potential trouble makers and/or chem addicts.

The reason I like this series so much is that it has reality television quality without the drama. Usually in a show like this there'd be a fuss about deadlines or some infighting or someone messing up really badly, but on here it's just people doing something that they do well in a really engaging and interesting way. Thank you for making something like this and not falling into the predecessor's poorly chosen methods.

There is a weapon in the book titled, 5 and the End of Magic. Actually there are several cool weapons in the story, but the one that is metal worthy is call the Sound Sword. From what I can tell by its discription, it seems to be a large Tuning Fork, that has been crafted into a long sword. Each of the forks outer ends are sharpend... There is also a piece that runs up and down the center of the two forks that can change the pitch of the sound it makes when struck, to both high and low sounding notes. The is where the magic of the sword comes to life. When the sword is struc, it begins to vibrate like a tuning fork, but these sound are very powerful and can shatter stone and crush the ear drumbs of those the sword is pointed at. I know much is fiction and not possible, but it would be cool to see a sword that can produce melodic sounds of any kind.
