This travel trailer is nice. Not bad. My dislikes are the sane as yours but I don’t mind walking through the bedroom and bathroom. I love the bedroom with the wardrobe and the love the sofas and love the cabinets above the couch. And the ladder. It can hold a lot of weight. Thank you Matt and Will!

TV has a swivel to turn toward couch. It is good for both if you swing it out.

I don’t know, I always liked this. I mean, I’m not too thrilled about walk through bathrooms because if you’re like me and have women in your family, you may be stuck in the bedroom until they’re done. But this one at least has a door in the bedroom. Still would have to get out and walk around if need be. It’s a good couple’s or singles camper. I’ve seen full timers in these.

Lol, cabinetry is “a lot like Winnebago”. Good one Matt. For those of you who don’t know, Winnebago is the parent company of Grand Design. Ps Matt, the walk through bathroom is why it’s the primmest of PPPP. With no hallway, it’s more floor space to the bathroom. I totally get why you dislike it, but it’s a love for me.

There are those of us who would much rather have the aluminum fold up steps. There are situations, like truck stops or rest stops where you don't have the room to put those big steps down, and you can't get into your RV. We'd also much rather have those big windows in the back of the rig than a bathroom. Great video, as always!

Matt and Will, we literally bought this same model one week ago from your boy Paul at Beckley's. We got it with the theatre dinette for the reasons you gave plus it gives seating directly across from the TV. Love the bathroom where it is, makes the bedroom feel bigger. Get the Furrion thing but that tv has a great picture. Also, the underbelly is heated. At least it better be as it is advertised as a mandatory "option". Camped for the first time this past weekend and love the floor plan! Was so excited today when I saw you did this video. Literally thought as I was standing in it this weekend "I wonder how the headroom would be for Will?". 😄

I thought when we bought ours I wouldn't like position of tri-fold sofa with the TV but with a little use of the tv swingarm the view is fine and the recliner sofa view is still great.

The floor plan shows it with a u-shaped dinette. But I love that it actually has two couches! I hate the stairs though.

I think people who say they don’t like walking through the bathroom to get to the bedroom never had a trailer with that floorplan. We had a Grand Design Imagine 2250rk with that bathroom before we traded up for a fifth wheel. Sharing the space, you have tons of room for showering and changing clothes. The 2250rk didn’t have a booth or dining table. That’s one of the reasons we traded for a Reflections fifth wheel. It was a hassle to constantly have to get out a table to eat on. Not everyone wants to go out to a restaurant to eat every meal. And it’s usually too hot or too much trouble to carry all of your food outside to eat. Not a fan of the “no dining table” situation.

This one is a keeper. Like the floor plan.the pass through bathroom doesn't bother me, cause it allows for more space in the bathroom. Happy to see your back is better.the two of you make a great team. Definitely like having two entry doors. The idea of diving out a window in an emergency does not seem too appealing to me. That recliner sofa looks comfortable. I like that option better than the U Shape dinette shown in the intro. Does this thing have a heated underbelly? Miss not having the specs listed below. Would you rather have the primest PPPP? Or a hallway? I do agree with the aluminum steps.

Matt said no heated underbelly but the specs say direct ducted to underbelly so hope he's wrong. I definitely wanted that and thought that's what we bought.

Dislikes: 1. the tv should be able to rotate 2. Lack of storage throughout the unit especially in the bathroom 3. The steps Like: 1. I love the design and the bathroom in the middle it gives the bathroom so much more room. 2. I love the living area and the lack of dinette. The couches look amazing. 3. You can walk around the bed and have two exits. Nicely done!

We have a 2020 245RL and the tv does swivel out to be able to watch it from moth locations; the downside is the remote won’t work the controls for the radio/ DVD player very well from the dinette.

Maybe the reason why they offered the TCL TV is because TCL would be a Roku TV I don't think furrion makes Roku TVs

Dislikes-No pantry, can’t access the bathroom from main room with the slide closed, TCL tv(have one and don’t care for it, this unit has no rear storage compartment. Likes-amount of counter space, big walk through bathroom and I’m jealous of the bedroom closet. We have a Transcend 265BH with some similarities in layout.

I just don't understand the aversion to good old fashioned folding steps. They are reliable and compact. I've RV'd in trailers for decades with no issues. Those tip up steps can cause damage and can introduce dirt and mud into the the trailer when you fold them up. I, for one, am grateful that regular steps are still available.

The return of the "boyfriend door"!! Yay!! Two couches, no place to eat. Smh. Gonna have to rip one of those sofas out. I'd take out the one just to the left of the door and put my own table and chairs there. Right by the door, perfect spot. I love those huge windows! I don't like how the door covers the kitchen window when open though. And I don't like the toilet right there in front of the shower. You know what I'd really do with trailer is move the sofa over to where those lazy butt theater seats are and ditch the theater seats. But I've got to have my dinette. I do not eat in my living room. Never have. So sitting on the couch with basically a TV tray is a huge no-no for me. And since there is no pantry, I like the extended counter space and extra cabinets. But the deal setter for me is the boyfriend door. You don't often get that and I love it. I would have fun decorating this trailer. Remember, I'm in this for full time...a single grandma, roaming alone. I might have to change the screen door on the boyfriend door in the bedroom to a more secure one so that I can leave the door and window open for a x-breeze but I love it. Now...all I have to do is learn how to tow a trailer ha ha. Thanks for another good one, guys. Love it!

I love the large bathroom, extra counter in the kitchen and access from the outside to the bathroom and bedroom. Did not like seeing the particle board under the bed. TV is too big and the dinette is missing.

The tv actually works fine in the space. Also, the base model comes with a U dinette. I goes where the recliner sofa is and you save $500+. The only problem is you then do not have direct facing view of the tv which was a must for us. Also the dinette was too tight for my fat ass.

I love the extra table (and no dinette) but I wouldn't eat in the bedroom LOL. I don't mind walking though the bathroom because the bathroom is so nice. I like the 2 sofas especially the reclining one. I dislike what y'all said.

Other than having to walk directly through the bathroom and not around it to get from the living area to the bedroom, this RV is a winner, but unlike you and Will, I am not a big fan of my stable steps! I, and many other owners that I have personally witnessed have been in situations on not so perfectly level ground where the steps WILL NOT fold down enough to close the door, even with the extendable feet removed, forcing us to elevate all 4 wheels to create enough space for the steps to completely fold down😬😬😬

I like the company Grand Design but they need some out of the box design help. To me this travel trailer is only 85% of what it could be. Start with moving the bedroom cabinet to the right of the door and have the sliding bedroom door pocket in it then move the TV location to where it should be.

We have a 2022 245 rl and I like that thought for the change in layout but I think it's that the wardrobe and drawers are behind the shelves in the bathroom next to the shower and moving to the right of the door would take space away from the bathroom.

The U dinette is what's on the base model. We just picked ours up a week ago and the recliners in place of the dinette is $500 option. We went with the recliners because doesn't fit fat people like me well and doesn't provide direct viewing of the TV. Although the swing arm does give much better view from the tri-fold sofa than I thought it would.
